A/N's POV
The Emperor sigh deeply as he look up seeing his Knight with a small child on his embrace sleeping soundly.

"who's that child?" The Emperor asked, but if you listen to his tone closely, you can hear slight trembling from the question. Just then the Child on Lancelot's embrace opened her eyes and her hood fall from her head hiding her hair is seen by the emperor, he froze from his spot.

Those snow like hair that shines even in the darkness of the night, that Crimson eyes that captivated him once again. He doesn't know how to respond.

"Sir. Knight... Where are we?" the little voice asked Lancelot confused by the situation.

"Caroline..." An unfamiliar voice echoed through the room, as it caught Eleonore's attention.

"who are you, Mister?" Eli asked innocenely.

"I-I..." the emperor tremble as he don't know is he is deserving to be a Father to her. She looks like Caroline, a complete copy of her.

"Little Lady Eli, Greet your Father. He is also the Emperor of this Empire" Lance said as he put Eleonore down and kneel.

"Hi...uhmm...Hello, Your Majesty....I am Eleonore Frost." Eli said and bow a bit.

The Emperor stared at her unable to process anything.
just then the door burst open revealing a woman who made Eleonore flinch and hide behind Lance who is currently standing up as he know himself that the person who just showed is not worthy of his knight's honor.

"what's the meaning of this?!" The woman yelled loudly, not even care if someone will hear her outside the walls of the room.

"calm yourself, Matilda Vinedestine. Aren't you too rude to burst into my office without announcing your presence?" the Emperor said and collected himself again.

"that doesn't even matter!. You!! why did you bring that peasant here?!" Mathilda pointed at Lancelot who is carrying Trembling Eleonore.

"I don't serve for you, I am a personnel of his Majesty the Emperor. You have no rights to question me" Lancelot said coldly that made Mathilda boil in anger.

"throw that peasant out!, just think what would be the reaction of the other nobles if they will found out that you have a daughter with an unknown origin?!" Mathilda said in anger.

"can you take the responsibility of saying that, Mathilda?" The Emperor asked that made Mathilda quiet.

Eleonore peeked at the woman, and her eyes widen.
"Y-You're the one who killed my Mommy" Eli said that made the emperor flinch and Mathilda lose her posture even more.

"hah!, stop spitting some nonsense!" Mathilda said and act as if she would grab the child, but Lancelot unsheathed his sword infront of Mathilda.

"What are you doing?!, You lowly knight!. I am your Empress!" Matilda yelled.

"I only have one Empress whom I swear my loyalty with, Her Highness Caroline is my Empress not someone like you" Lancelot said with cold tone.

"Mathilda, leave now." His Majesty the Emperor said
"no!, not until you throw that peasant out!" Mathilda demanded.

"Y-you'll throw me away again?. Because of you, my mommy died without even seeing my Father!" Eleonore exploded as her Crimson eyes glitters due with tears.

Eleonore cries on Lancelot's shoulders as she squeezed Lancelot's clothes while crying, indicating that she has been hurt for a long time.

"I will hear this tomorrow early in the morning Lancelot. For now, take her to Crimson Palace, to get some rest. I will send people there later to take care of her, If she wanted anything, just give it to her" The Emperor ordered, Lancelot bow his head "Yes, Your Majesty" Lancelot said and leave the room.
