Yoongi shoots the basketball, making the basket with ease. He always found basketball pretty simple. It came easily to him. He's playing on the inside court since it's too cold for outside.

Yoongi doesn't notice the dozens of times his phone went off from getting calls. He took it out of his pocket a while ago and figured out how to work the speakers for music. His phone continues to ring, Yoongi being completely oblivious as he shoots three-pointers.

After about 10 more minutes, he goes over for water. Yoongi practically chokes when he sees 10 calls from Jin, 8 from Namjoon, and about 20 from Hoseok. He snatches his phone, calling Hoseok first since he called the most. He makes sure to pause the music before Hoseok answers.

"Holy shit, you're okay?" Hoseok sounds frantic on the other end.

"I was playing basketball. I didn't hear my phone go off," Yoongi breathes heavily.

"I almost had a fucking heart attack. I thought you left me, called the cops on me, or even called Jin and Namjoon. I got scared," Hoseok was clearly crying. It's obvious in his voice.

"I didn't mean to worry you. I'm so fucking sorry," Yoongi frowns.

"It's alright. I was on my way back to you. What do you want for dinner while I'm out?" Hoseok takes a deep breath.

"I'm honestly in the mood for either a good steak or fried chicken," Yoongi thinks.

"There's a fried chicken place on the way home. I can get some," Hoseok sounds like he's calming down now. Yoongi has seen how emotionless the man can get. At least now he knows Hoseok's feelings are real.

"Are you good with eating fried chicken?" Yoongi bites his lip nervously.

"Yeah, it sounds good. We can have steak tomorrow if you still want it tomorrow."

"Sounds good. Listen, I'd love to talk, but Namjoon and Jin were calling me, too. I need to call them back; so they don't think I am dying," Yoongi laughs a little.

"Right, we don't need them hating me."

"I'll see you soon," Yoongi lightly smiles.

"Bye. I love you so much, kitten."

"I... I love you too," Yoongi's voice is hesitant at first, then becomes more firm and sure of what he's saying. Both men hang up, and Yoongi goes to call Jin. He walks towards the living room, considering he's gonna take a break from playing basketball.

"Oh my god, we thought you died!" Jin shouts on the other end.

"I was playing basketball! You know how I get when I'm playing," Yoongi chuckles.

"We need to get you home right now."

"Why? Is something wrong?" Yoongi scoffs.

"Hoseok is the main suspect of being J-Hope."

🔪

"What?" Hoseok places the food down.

"I don't know why. They're catching onto you, though. If you don't trust me, you can go through my call logs. I didn't contact them at all. I think Taehyung likely suggested you or something. Hoseok, you can't get arrested. I don't want to go home yet either," Yoongi frowns.

"Jesus Christ, I am not meant to be the main suspect," Hoseok shakes his head.

"Apparently, police are coming here now. Both of us will likely be getting questioning. What if I accidentally give you away?" Yoongi breathes a bit heavily.
