Inclination

Chapter 1

"Hurry, grab our baby and run away far from this place. I can't have you and her harmed." Said the King to his Queen, who held their daughter in her hands. The Queen nodded and ran away far from the castle in which was being taken over for a fight.
The queen ran and ran with her crying baby in hand to reach safety among the fields. The queen hid behind a big tree to try and calm her baby from crying.
"Darling please stop crying. We might die if you continue like this." The mother said, slightly rocking her baby back and forth to soothe her.
Soon enough a loud sound appeared in front of the lady. She let out a loud scream and slowly looked ar who was before her. A handsome man stood before her wearing black dressing pants, a red dressing shirt, a long with a long black dressing coat. The man's eyes were red, his fangs were sharp and pointy. His black straight hair taking the form of a mullet as his monolids suddenly turned into those of a sharp dragon type.
"Well what do we have here?" Said the man in a dark voice, licking his lips.
"Please let me and my child go, I don't want no harm!" The Queen said, shaking and crying. Begging for mercy.
"Out of all people, why do you think you deserve mercy? You killed my loved ones and even stolen our possessions." Said the man raising an eyebrow, a slight smirk on his face becoming visible.
"I'm sorry. We didn't mean to do it. Please forgive us!" The queen said crying, holding her baby tighter.
"Are you begging me?" The man laughed. "Beg more. Go on. Put the baby down and beg." Said the man, awaiting her action. The Queen did as she was told. Before she can bend down to beg he strikes at her, pinning her up against the tree, his hand already pierced through her stomach as she gasps for air.
"There is no hope left for you." He moved his hand out of her body as her body hit the ground completely. The Queens baby started to cry as the man left it there, continuing to leave from sight.

A woman was passing by just a few hours later and heard the baby cry. She picked it up and gave it some water to drink. She then took it away with her. She grew up to be strong in a palace with her new parents in a palace. She trained to fight and also be a lady.
"Ein, come here please." Said her mother. Ein made way to her mother and sat on the chair in front of the mirror, knowing it was time to get ready for bed. Her mother (Queen Mi-Young) started to brush Ein's hair delicately and softly, to not hurt her.
"Did you enjoy dinner?" Asked her mother.
"Yes mother, I definitely enjoyed it all." Ein smiled. Telling the truth. The mothers eyes lit of a light green as she smiled.
"Alright. You ready for bed?" The mother asked putting the daughters hair into a braid.
"I don't want to sleep alone. A
lady keeps watching over me." Said Ein.
"What lady?" Asked the mother, her eyebrow raised.
"I don't know her name or who she is, but she always stares at me. Her hair is long and her face looks beautiful. She's always humming a tune to me and floating around." Said Ein. "It's kind of scary mother." Added Ein.
"Don't worry. Its just your imagination. I'll tell a guard to leave a small night light in your room alright? I'll even stay with you until your asleep." Her mother suggested.
"Okay." Ein said. It went on like that for years until Ein finally turned 17. She had friends and would casually write in her journal and learn occasionally.
She didn't know much about the outside world but she knew about the deadly creatures who attacked a palace once. Ein knew to practice her sword work for when she goes out alone.
She was very swell at it and always was at the top of sword fighters since she practiced as a kid.
"Ein, your mother is waiting for you in the dinning room." Said a servant as Ein bowed. "I'll head there now. Thank you." Ein said, leaving toward the side door that lead to the dinning room.
Ein entered in the kitchen and saw another family there along with her mother.
"Glad you can make it, come sit down beside me honey." Said her mother as she smiled and obeyed.
"Id love for you to meet Prince Dong-Hyun. He will be your fiance." Said the mother. That last word made Ein upset.
"M-mother, I don't want to be married. I don't even know him." Ein said.
"Don't worry, you guys will get to know one another before marrying. Its best for our kingdom." Said the mother. Ein disagreed and got up from the table leaving outside. Her mother called after her but she didn't respond. She found her sword and put it on her back in the strap it was in. She got on top of her horse and went riding away on it across the fields and a little bit more into the woods. She was crying and furious about her moms decision, for it wasn't the first time.
She was continuing to ride until something appeared in front of her eyes. She stopped the horse as it neither and got back down on its feet. She got off the horse and approached the figure. She seen it was a man and took out her sword for protection.
The man turned around and made contact with her. His brown eyes coming off as sweet. She felt she had seen this man before but only in a dream.
"Who are you?" She asked the man. The man looked her deeply in the eye and seemed to find her familiar as well.
"I'm va- Prince Taehyun." He stopped himself from saying a word but she didn't know what it was, she just let it slide away.
"Who are you?" He asked looking at her and then the sword. She slowly put it down.
"I'm princess Ein. I'm from a palace nearby here. This is my kingdom, may I ask why you are here?" She asked.
"I'm kind of lost. My horse ran away from me and I been stuck in this place for a few hours." Taehyun said, lying through his teeth.
"Well, your in Seoul. Have you come a long way?" She asked.
"I have. I'm from a different place I cannot say." He said. Not lying at all this time.
"Are you Injured?" Asked Ein.
"Y-yes. I'll be fine though." Taehyun said.
"Come with me. I'll treat your injuries." Ein said.
"No I'm all good. Just leave me be." Taehyun said.
"I'm not asking you, I'm demanding you to." Ein said sternly. Taehyuns eyes slightly almost flashed red from sudden anger. He wanted to be left alone. She put her sword back in the strap and got on her horse. She signaled him to come on as he sighed getting closer to the horse. The horse started to freak out a bit as Ein calmed it down. Taehyun got on and sat behind her as they headed back to her place. Throughout the trip he could smell her fresh sweet blood, making his fangs pop out a bit. He resisted the urge and only stared closely at her face from behind. He finally put his finger onto how he knew her. He remembered the incident from that lady 17 years ago. He killed the queen and left the baby there. That baby was...Ein?
