"Avia no one wants you! Especially me!" My mum said, clearly she'd had a drink.
She had a glass I her hand and all of a sudden it came flying at me
"Mum please, it hurts!"
The glass had shattered and had sliced my forehead. I ran to the bathroom and put a tissue on it. I locked the bathroom door and sat down and cried. There was blood everywhere. Suddenly, my mum smashed the door down
"AVIA GET OUT YOU DIRTY PIG!" She yelled and shoved me out the door, and I fell down the stairs.
"No! Mum, please, no more!" I shouted
I could hear sirens in the distance so I tried to call for help
"Please help me!" I yelled, but it only came out as a whisper
"SHUT UP YOU LITTLE PIECE OF CRAP!" My mum yelled, and threw another glass down the stairs
"PLEASE MUM NO MORE IT HURTS I HATE YOU!"
*end of dream*
"Avia it's only a dream sweetie" Jade said, sitting up next to me
"Sh-she threw a gla-glass d-down the sta-stairs" I said crying
"Who did?" Jade asked hugging me
"M-my mum"
"Don't worry sweetie, it's just a dream" she was trying to calm me down but it wasn't working
"B-but what I-if she c-comes back?" I ask
"We'll all protect you"
I ended up telling Jade everything, from the beginning up till the night when she got arrested. It was 3am, but Jade listened and she was wide awake. I couldn't get back to sleep so we watched The Smurfs 2 in my bedroom until we both fell asleep, me in jades arms
"Avia. Jade. It's half past twelve! Time to get up" mum said, opening the curtains
"Morning mum" I say and give her a hug
"We've got to go to an interview today and you can come with us" she said, "it's the Ellen Show!"
"Really? I love Ellen!" I got very excited, and Jade woke up
"Morning girls" she said with a yawn
"How are you both so tired?" Mum asked, and I explained the whole thing, and I started to get a panic attack just thinking about my real mum
"Sweetie calm down you'll be okay" Mum said trying to calm me down, "You're safe with us"
"Thankyou" I say eventually
1 HR LATERR
We're on our way to the interview. Me, mum and Zayn. I won't call him dad, because he's not like my real dad. He left when I was about two, and I know Zayn won't leave at all. Plus, Perrie adopted me, and on the papers it only says that Perrie's my mum, Zayn wasn't mentioned. Apparently this interview is basically to introduce me! I'm wearing denim shorts (I live in them!) and a baggy top that says 'Swiftie'. Mum's wearing jeans and a pretty flowery top, and Zayn's wearing black jeans and a bright red top!Jade went home a while ago, because she had to help her brother with something.

When we got to the studio, Mum and Zayn had to go straight on with Ellen, but I had to wait on the side of the stage.
"Hey kid, are you Zayn's and Perrie's daughter!" The stage manager, who was about 20, asked me
"Yup, I'm Avia!" I aid smiling
"I'm Thomas" he said, "go on, she's calling you"
I ran on and sat next to mum
"You must be Avia" Ellen said and I nodded
"So we're gonna ask you some questions. First of all, how old are you" She asked
"I'm ten, but I'm eleven on June 15!" I said smiling (A/N it's April right now in the book btw)
"That's cool. Have you met any other famous people already?" She asked
"Yeah, we went out for food the other day. I've met all the boys from one direction, all the girls from little mix, and their partners. It was fun!" I say trying to remember everyone
"Do you have any favourites?" Ellen said
"Well I love them all but Eleanor, Louis and Jade are probably my favourites. Don't tell the others though!" I say giggling
"They're probably watching!" She said laughing, "and the last question, why were you put in the orphanage?"
"My mum was arrested for child abuse and binge drinking" I whisper, "and my dad left when I was small"
"I'm sure your new mum and dad will look after you much better than that" Ellen said, and then the interview was finished!
A WHILE LATERR ITS ABOUT 5 PM NOW
"Sweetie I've got to go for a meeting with management with the girls and dad is going somewhere with the boys so Auntie El is gonna come over, okay?"
"Yaya!" I say and run upstairs to change into my teddy bear onesie, because I knew Eleanor would be in a onesie
I ran down and heard a knock on the door and went to answer it
"Auntie El!" I shout
"Avia!" She shouts and pulled me into a hug
"Okay I've gotta go now, love you" mum said kissing my on the head and hugging auntie El
"Bye see you later" I say as she walks out the door
"Okay watcha wanna do?" Auntie El asked
"Watch YouTube!!!!!" I yell, and we put Youtube on the TV and watched Zoella and Bethany Mota all night
"Its half ten, time for bed?" Auntie El says, as Zoellas Valentines makeup video finished
"Yeah, I'm tired!" I say, and we both go upstairs," Will you sleep in here with me? I had a bad dream last night"
"Of course, shift up then!" she said and we both fell asleep
