He finally pulled into his designated parking spot of his apartment building and shut the car off. Exiting the vehicle, leaving me there, waiting for him to open my door.

'That's right bitch, be a good peasant and open my door for me' I giggled to myself.

"Why are you like this?" Suna said while giving me a face of bewilderment and slight concern. I ignored him and glanced down at my phone.

2:22 am

'How ironic.'

I follow him through the parking garage door, up the stairs, and into the elevator. Once the doors close he leans against the railing and yawns a bit. I steer my eyes towards the glass backing of the elevator, admiring the view of Tokyo growing smaller as we make our way up. Ascending beyond the clouds.

'Just how far up does he live? I bet he used his dirty money to get the Penthouse.'

DING

I glance up, the 81st floor. Wow, he lives higher up than me. He exits and I follow in his shadow, my eyes traveling up his back. Picking up my pace that way we were shoulder to shoulder, I side-eyed him.

'Ugh his posture is still so bad, he's gonna have a hunch back like Quasimodo.'

"Stop looking at me like that." He says, digging through his pockets and pulling out his keys.

'Apartment 10 on the 81st floor'

He opened the door gesturing for me to go in first, "Such a gentleman."

I walked through the doorway kicking my heels off in the corner.

"Finally, felt like I was walking on Legos," I sighed. Glancing back to see that Suna disappeared. Nowhere to be found, gone like a ghost. So I take it upon myself to explore, I enter his living room. Floor to ceiling windows show a clear view of the dark sky only illuminated by the far-away stars. I moved deeper into the room, my feet gliding through a lush gray rug as my eyes scanned the walls. Pictures of him and the rest of his family on graduation day, as well as posters of different bands, cluttered the walls, my eyes, however, land on the polaroid of him and I.

I recognize it as our last outing together before we broke up. It was us sitting on the Miyas' couch, he had his arm draped around me with a lazy smirk and   I was holding a cup, using it to slightly block my face.

'How old was I here? 17? I look so young.' Before I could reach out to touch the photo Suna's voice filled the space, causing me to flinch. I legit took a fucking screenshot with my body.

"Oh My God. Don't sneak up on me like that! Make some noise when you move or something." I breathed out, placing a hand over my heart."

"Your so jumpy," he chuckled before moving closer. "Here put this on, I don't want you laying in my bed with those." He said hinting at my clothes while handing me some Nike sweat-shorts and a plain black t-shirt.

"Are you saying I stink? Wow." I comment as he directs me towards the guest bathroom.

"Not as bad as your breath, so it's okay. There's a toothbrush on the counter." With his comment, I immediately brought my hand to my mouth. I can't believe he said that, was that the reason he was so quiet? Because my breath was too hot for his liking, I'm literally going to die!

"Relax! I was just joking, damn." He chuckled again, eyes folding at the corners. In effort to hide my embarrassment, I slam the door in his face. Quickly changing into the pajamas and neatly folding my clothes, leaving them on the counter. I brush my teeth making sure to scrub my tongue twice.
