Kirishima's P.O.V
teacher frowns at me and gives me my report card. "Listen, kid you need to try more on your next test or at least exercise a spirit. You're failing " said the teacher as he walked by my desk. The bell rang and everyone walked out the door. I sighed and stood up. As I walked into the bathrooms I heard two guys talking. "- am serious, theres a spirit hanging around that old abandoned shrine" said one. "But isn't that shrine near a graveyard?" Asked two. "Nah its only one grave. So its technically not a graveyard " said one. "Whatever man" said two as they walked out. Hmm a spirit not too far from my house. I might just be able to pass my class. I smiled and used the bathroom thinking of how to exercise the spirit.
After the final bell rang I saw Mina and Sero. "HEY!" She said giving me a hug. "Hey Mina" I said as Sero smiled. "So how are you're grades, Mr I never seen a spirit" asked kaminari walking up behind Sero. "Hey..I will have you know today is the day i exercise my first spirit " I said confidently. They all laugh and we start walking out of the building. "Sure man" said Sero patting my back. "Anyway you guys coming over tonight for a movie marathon?" Asked Mina. "Hell ya" said Kaminari as Sero nods. "Am busy tonight " I said. They look at me as we walked down the road. "Busy? Are you still looking into rumors?" Asked Mina. They look at me with worry. "If I don't exercise something soon I might faill or worse get kicked out" I said as they looked down in thought. "Well I wish you luck man" said Sero. They all nod and we go our separate ways.
The wind picked up as I entered my house. "Am home" I said to no one. I have lived mostly by myself, my father is always out on the field and my mother...well she passed away when I was nine. I sigh wondering what mission my father was on, maybe he was fighting demons or something. I walked up to my room and start on my homework. I sit at my desk and scratch my head. Whats a charm that wears off low ranked demons? Hmmm I think its a...yeah hmm a thing I need to look up. I need to start taking notes and pay more attention. I sigh and grab my text book.
After I finish my homework and change, I grab a snack from downstairs. I think about that new rumor as I ate my apple. Hmm I should probably be smart about this one but my friends are busy watching movies so...I guess I shall investigate by myself this time. I know its stupid and reckless to go alone to exercise anything, especially at this time of the day but..I can't afford to wait around till am kicked out. I must be manly and take care of my own problems instead of relying on my friends. Feeling pumped up I get my bag and put my shoes on, time to exercise a spirit.
