" And the we killed the demon like BADAAA BOOM BOOM KLANG and then WHOOF BANG CRASH BADAA BOOM!" Y/n squealed as she babbled all these to her boyfriend Tomioka Giyuu. They were just back together from a tiring mission and Y/n won't stop talking about it.

" Giyuu-kun? Are you listening?" Y/n frowned as she asked the raven haired male, pouting at his lack of response.

" Giyuu-kun~ " Y/n cooed as she poked Giyuu's soft cheeks with her index finger. The male's face turned into a tomato and he tried to hide his flustered face with his mismatched haori.

" Y-y/n!" he stuttered out, his face reddening more when he said that.

Y/n only laughed as he grabbed Giyuu's hand and fastened her pace.

" C'mon Giyuu-kun, I think you are hungry too after the mission, why don't we eat together?" the e/c girl said as she ruffled her boyfriend's raven hair. Giyuu nodded and Y/n chuckled.

" There's a shop which sells salmon daikon nearby~ do you wanna go and try it? "

Y/n swore she saw Giyuu's face brighten up when she said " salmon daikon." She didn't have to wait for a response. Giyuu immediately grabbed Y/n's petite hand and literally RAN.

" Giyuu-kun...you don't know where the shop is located...do you?" Y/n smirked as Giyuu once again turned into a cherry.

"C'mon, let me show you the way. "

" One soba and what about you, Giyuu?"

"...one extra large salmon daikon."

" As expected of Giyuu-kun! That'll be it, thank you!" Y/n nodded and gave a smile to the waitress. She then turned her head towards Giyuu. "You do seem to like salmon daikon very much, Giyuu-kun."

" ...I love you more." Giyuu said softly and then lightly kissed Y/n on her forehead. Now it was Y/n's turn to blush.

" G-Giyuu-kun! We don't do that here!" she scoffed and pushed Giyuu away lightly, her face still flushed with pink.

Giyuu stared at his adorable girlfriend lovingly.

" I love you..." he said under his breath.

" Itadakimasu!"

"...itadakimasu,"

Giyuu dug in his salmon daikon immediately. It gave off a good smell and oh how Giyuu adored it. He was quite a messy eater so he already had crumbs all over his face and the table. Y/n giggled at her boyfriend's cuteness.

Giyuu bit into the hot, freshly cooked salmon and smiled. Y/n was right, the salmon daikon in this restaurant was really excellent! He licked his lips and froze.

Did I just smile? What if Y/n sees it? Will she hate it? No... will she hate me?

" A-ah! Giyuu-kun...You smiled!" Y/n squealed in excitement as she looked at Giyuu's face with a big, bright smile. " It's adorable!"

" Y/n no...i look disgusting..." he mumbled and his deep blue orbs casted down on the table.

" What do you mean? You look so cuteee! Smile more for me!" The girl to put her fingers on the corners of Giyuu's placid lips and tried her best to pull them up. Giyuu couldn't help but blush at his girlfriend's cute antics.

" I know! If salmon daikon can make you smile, why don't we order more! Ten bowls of salmon daikon, please!" The waitress nodded after Y/n called out at her.

" Y/n... please. Kocho said last time...i looked disgusting..." Giyuu said with a sad tone and a heartbreaking expression. Y/n frowned and pouted.

" Don't listen to her, Giyuu-kun! You look absolutely cute! I'm sure she's just jealous that no one could ever have a smile prettier than yours!" Giyuu's eyes widened and then he smiled again. It was a smile that wasn't from the taste of the salmon daikon, it was a smile that truly expressed how he felt right now. Happy.

" Y/n...thank you."
