Hunter King was in the office of The Next Step dance studio, planning to leave.
"I'm just not enjoying dance, Miss Kate." He lied.
"Well if thats the case," Miss Kate began. "Then pack your things and leave." She sternly yelled.
Hunter walked to the cubby-type shelf and grabbed his backpack. "Bye, never liked you anyway." He said with a smirk on his face and laughed between each word. The first few days of his second year he was already not impressed.
,
The next morning Hunter woke up remembering what he had to do.
Find a new place to dance.
He searched on his computer for hours and came across one that seemed like a place for him.
"Elite Dance Academy? Well I guess I can go an try to audition." He mumbled as he slammed his computer top shut and fumbled down the stairs.
He changed into black sweat pants and a grey t-shirt. Brushing his teeth and putting his hat on on the way out, he was finally gone from The Next Step. He only went for the "Love Of His Life" who now was in a relationship with annoying Eldon.
He decided to knock because he thought that was polite but he knew they wouldn't hear him. After about 3 knocks he walked in and they were dancing so beautifully and gracefully. The studio was bigger than his house and the dancers were so amazing he couldn't think he would ever be as good as them. The dance teacher, a boy, stopped the music with an angry look on his face.
"Who might you be, intruding Elite's Nationals practise?" He barked with a wicked tone.
"J-Just came to see if you had spots open, clearly you don't that's fi--" Hunter was stopped.
"We need extra's.. Let's see what you got. Everyone move!" He yelled. "Name?"
"Hunter King, sir. What's yours?" Hunter asked politely.
"Lucien. Now enough with the chit-chat let's see you dance already." Lucien annoyingly said.
Hunter put a disk in the CD player. He pulled some technical moves along with his breakdancing style which turned out looking amazing.
"Hm, FAITH YOUR OUT." He pointed to the door. "Hunter." He breathed in and out. "Your in." He whispered.
Everyone clapped as the Faith girl ran out with tears in her eyes.
"Amanda is our dance captain, and Tess is our helper." Lucien pulled out 2 girls from the crowd of black body-suited dancers.
Tess had long, curly black hair and a lot of freckles. But Amanda!
When he saw her he thought of a sweet angel. Long, straight brown hair, a beautiful smile and a perfect figure. He thought he was in love.
Amanda on the other hand looked at him and thought that she would never take him on a date ever or even pay attention to him.
"Amanda can you and Hunter run over the choreo for like another half-an-hour, class is over so I just wanted to make sure that was okay with you." Lucien whispered to Amanda.
"Of course." Amanda said with an irritated and rude tone.
"Hunter, c'mere." She smiled so fake that Hunter knew she wasn't in the mood.
"What?" He walked over breathing heavily but still getting close to her as she stepped away.
"I have to run over the choreography with you to make sure you know everything and that it's clean." Amanda explained.
"Sure but after want to get Fro-yo with me?" He smirked.
"Why?" She laughed and thought it was funny he was asking her.
"Please!!" He begged. "I want to get to know my dance captain."
She sighed and nodded with squeezed eyes.
"Okay let's just dance already." She pleaded.
"Yes." Hunter replied with a giant smile across his face.
