"Come on I aian't doing this!" Yells Chris
crumbling up the paper and throwing it off his desk. I take the paper from Mrs.Kinder. I start doing it right away as all the other kids talk and complain. Chris is one of the worst kids in my class. He lives on my street and has been held back 2 years and is 14. He considers us 'friends'. I play along with him and pretend that we are. After school is over I walk home along the busy sidewalk. I pass a couple allies with people smoking. The smell of smoke just overloads me. My two parents smoke themselves. Once I go along the street where my house is I pull on the knob and it doesn't open. I knock a few times waiting for a reply. After about 5 minutes of waiting I give up and head over to Chris's house like I do whenever this happens which is often. "Come on in Jess." He says opening the door for me.
I walk inside and see his baby sister crying on the floor. Her bright blue eyes pop out. I ignore her and follow Chris downstairs. "Come skating tonight?" He asks me with his teribble grammar.
"I guess so." I say putting my backpack down on the floor.
Time passes as we watch tv and it reaches 9 o clock. Me and Chris walk 3 blocks to get to the skating rink. "Aye Chris! This your girl?" Says a tall 15 year old looking boy.
"No way man. This just a friend" He tells the boy.
Loud music jams of rap and songs I can't even understand. Most of the time like I do at every skating I sit at one of the booths waiting for the session to end at midnight. "Hey girl what you doing sittin alone baby?" Says a boy who looks my age with brown eyes and brown hair swept to the side with a beenie on and a muscle shirt.
I look up and say "Not having much fun ya know?" I try to fit in like I said by using bad grammar.
"Come skate a song with me." He demands and grabs my hand.
I don't even know his name.. I think to myself
