CHAPTER 1:

Getting To Know

"Annie? I'm really sorry, but I can't live here anymore. I miss Greg too much!", My Ma said sadly. "Its ok, Ma. I miss Daddy too! But why do we have to move to such a small town? I do not want to go to Mullingar! I have such great friends here! Kimberley, Emma and Sophia! I miss them already!" I answered a little bit pissed.

But I still took my suitcase and put me into the car, where even my two big brothers Dak and Alex sat.

The two grinned stupidly and then they started to chat with their girlfriends. Sometimes I wonder why these people ever get girlfriends.. I'm currently single.. I need someone who understands me... Three months after my daddy died of cancer, I sometimes skipped school [please do not tell my Ma!]. And from then on only smoking or any bad boys came to me.

After a few hours of driving, I finally saw the sign "Welcome to Mullingar"! And then I saw our house already. It was white. With a brown door. Actually, it did indeed look very nice, but ... "Annie! Come finally out of the car! We have visitors! Our neighbors are here!"Shouted my brother Dak. "I'm coming Dakson Michael Cavanagh!" I shouted back.

So I got out. But then I saw him..

His blond hair, his blue eyes..

I immediately fell in love. But instead of saying anything to him, I just stood there, staring at him. So he came to me.

"Hi. You are Annie, right? I'm Niall. Your new neighbor!" He said. I have answered somewhat mesmerized [by his beauty] "Yes, I'm Annie. I am pleased to meet you, Niall!"

Then Alex came to us and said, "Hey Niall! Annie eats only McDonalds and Nandos! So I would not marry her! Eventually, she will definitely go bold!" I was totally red in the face. But Niall laughed and said, "Then Annie and I've got something in common!" Since Alex was offended and went back to Dak. Luckily!

I told Niall, why we moved. He looked at me the whole time so funny/sweet. Niall looked me in the eyes "Annie. Hold me not crazy, but ..." But he could not say more, because my mother called me.
