(Onyx's POV)
"So, uh, how've you been Maka?" I asked awkwardly. She smiled and looked down at the ground as we continued walking. "Fine I guess, me and Soul got into another fight this morning." I chuckled, remembering the morning at the apartment. "What's so funny?" Maka asked with a slight smirk. My eyes widened and I avoided eye contact. "It's a long story." I sighed, scratching the back of my neck. She giggled and grabbed my hand, running us to a nearby café. "Tell me all about it." She whispered once we took a booth near the window. "Alright..." I began.

(Kid's POV)
"Hey, Phe, isn't that your brother?" I asked her. "With Maka?!" She shouted a bit too loud, luckily Mist covered her mouth before we could be seen. "Shh!" Soul snapped, making us all quiet down. They were talking and laughing about something seemingly very funny. "What do think they're talking about Kid?" Phe asked me. "Something funny, obviously." I muttered as I continued watching. Ah! "Phe! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to say it that way!" I panicked. She giggled, tapping my nose with a 'boop.'

(Phoenix's POV)
I saw a blush spread slowly across Kid's adorable cheeks. "It's fine Kid." I whispered. Mist chuckled and turned to Soul. "They're hopeless, aren't they?" He asked just loud enough for me and Kid to hear.

(Mist's POV)
"Hey Soul," I began. He looked up at me with an expressionless face, "Hm?" I smiled and brought my face closer to his. "Let's leave these lovebirds alone." I suggested, pointing to the blushing Phe and Kid. Soul smirked and nodded. "Hey guys, We have to go...get some groceries! Yeah, uh, bye!" I lied and grabbed Soul's hand, running quickly out of the café.

(Light's POV)
"Yo! Black*Star, Tsubaki! Open up!" I shouted angrily. How could they just leave me?! Onyx, Phe, and Mist! Well, Mist I can understand... Gah! "Oh, why hello Light!" Tsubaki greeted cheerfully. I tried my best to smile for her, after all, she didn't do anything wrong. "Somethin wrong Light?" Black*Star screamed from another room in his house. "Yes! Everyone left without bringing me!" I screamed back as I shoved past Tsubaki.

(Soul's POV)
Mist was still holding my hand, she didn't realize it, but I wasn't about to tell her either. She was dragging me far away from that café so Phe and Kid could talk alone. "So," I cleared my throat. "Were are we headed anyways?" Mist stopped in her tracks, guess she didn't really think through this. "Wherever you'd like would be fine by the way." I added, making a faint blush spread across her cheeks. "Well, I mean I wasn't quite lying when I said we needed groceries... If that's okay with you..." She said quietly, staring at out hands. "Uh, Mist? You alright?" I asked as I waved a hand in front of her. She jumped back a bit, releasing my hand. "S-Sorry..." She muttered quickly. Her face was as red as a tomato.

(Phoenix's POV)
How do you start a conversation again? Can I even talk? I'm way to awkward. Ugh! How can Kid possibly even like me? I'm so gonna ruin this! Kid help! "So, Phe." Kid began as if he read my mind. "What's it like?" What's what like? What's being awkward like? Well- "Being a witch and all must be difficult sometimes right?" He continued with a smile. A-A witch? "It's not as great as you'd think." I mumbled sadly. This was the reason my parents were killed... The reason we were tortured for 2 years... The reason we constantly have to run away... "Oh, Phe, I'm sorry! I didn't mean to insult you!" Kid panicked, which made me do the same. "N-No! It's not like you knew! I'm fine!" He took a deep breath and stood up. "I'm sorry to end this, whatever it is, but I can't help myself! I think I forgot to fold my toilet paper into a triangle! It's been killing me! Sorry again!" He shouted before running out the door. I sighed and turned around in my chair. Where the heck did Soul and Mist go? I will seriously sta-

Kid ran back inside the store, kissed my cheek, then ran back out. I was basically a frozen tomato at that point. Hopefully Mist gets back here soon to get me...

(Mist's POV)
"Well Soul, I had fun." I sighed as I unlocked the door to the apartment. He chuckled and nodded, helping me with the bags. "I'll see you at school tomorrow right?" He asked eagerly. I nodded with a smile, waving bye as he walked out the door.

(Onyx's POV)
"Yeah, they can be royal pains in the morning." I sighed with a laugh. "I don't doubt that at all." She smiled and waved bye before running quickly out the door. I pulled a $5 bill out of my pocket as a tip, and that's when I saw Kid rush into the café to... Kiss Phe on the cheek? Whatever, wait is she... "Phoenix are you okay?" I asked, shoving her shoulder a bit. She quickly popped out of the chair and ran out. Uh, alright?
