"This can't be right," I thought to myself while staring intensely at my phone in my hand.

I sat in my car as the night got darker and the winds howled and whistled at the trees and bushes around my car.

The address she sent me was the same one as the GPS, so I'm sure I wasn't delusional.

Stephanie was as bright as the glorious sunshine and as upbeat as the melody of drums. She seemed to light up the gloomy cafe, I was a regular to, with her bright personality and avid smile. She was the one set my stone cold heart on fire.

We had agreed to meet at her house for the next date, and she texted me the exact address. She seemed to stress that where she lived was known to be sketchy and dangerous but she reassured me that as long as I didn't make a ruckus I'd be fine.

I thought nothing of it and the very next day I bought roses, filled my gas tank and set out for the wondrous occasion. It took many detours, with the help from my GPS, as there was no direct path to her home. When I reached the home, I was quite confused.

It was a medium sized old log cabin placed on a dark hill that was surrounded by forest tress. There was no light whatsoever to see the house clearly, but it seemed to be abandoned. I thought I had maybe taken a wrong turn but my GPS said otherwise.

I stayed in my driver's seat with my doors locked and phone out. I chuckled to myself and texted Stephanie, " Hey can you send me your address again? I got myself lost and took a wrong turn lol. " She instantly replied," No silly that's the exact place. Come inside." I sighed a breath of relief as I could feel her warmth through the phone.

I took the roses that were laid in the passenger's seat, unlocked the doors and took a step outside. I was making my way up the path when I saw a terrifying white looking figure in the doorway. I stopped in my tracks and on closer look it seemed to be a woman wearing a white nun outfit holding something stick-like.

We made eye contact and the next thing I knew was I was racing back to my car with the nun chasing yelling something. I hopped in my car, hastily locked the doors and as I was fumbling around for the speedstick, she was at my window trying to open the door. I quickly put the car in reverse and sped off down the nearest highway, unscathed.
