The Antique Store and The Lake

Ellie's POV:
Hi, my name is Ellie Ellison (A/N: No, that's not my real name so don't even think about it.). I'm your average teenage girl- Wait, nope, scratch that. I'm no ordinary teenage girl. I'm pretty shy and quiet around people who aren't my friends. I'm don't care much for makeup. I don't care about the latest fashion. I could care less about shopping. I don't have an obsession over cute guys. Sure, there are attractive guys, but I don't go saying, "OMIGOSH HE'S SO HOT!" "I WANNA MARRY HIM!" No, just, no. Don't get me wrong, I love romance. I love romance in movies, books, even in real life. And I want to experience it for myself sometime. I know the perfect guy is out there somewhere, but right now, I just wanna live life. I've been in love once, but was rejected. Ever since, I've never truly been in love with someone. Sometimes, I thought I was in love, but I really wasn't. Another time, I pretended to be in love because I pitied the guy. He was in love with me and I didn't want to break his heart, so I pretended that I was in love with him. A few weeks later, he said he wasn't in love with me anymore and I was fine with it. But I doubt that anyone is in love with me currently. I mean really in love. Not just a guy who's desperate for a girlfriend. I've avoided falling in love for a long time now. But, I guess you don't want to hear about my personal life anymore. I don't think anyone really wants to hear about my past... My terrible, heartbreaking past...

Paper's POV:
Not being in Season Two of Inanimate Insanity kinda sucks, but it's great at Hotel OJ! It's quite relaxing actually, well, except when Salt's chasing OJ around the hotel. Poor OJ. He's told me that he likes Marshmallow. I'm starting to think that Salt might be noticing this. She's been trying to be near him even more recently. I've even heard a rumor that Salt watches him in his sleep. That's just creepy. Meanwhile, nothing exciting really happens to me. I don't think any girls have an interest in me. Oh well, I don't have an interest in anyone. Yet. I just, haven't met the right girl yet. I'm hoping that I find the right girl sometime soon.

Ellie's POV;
I was walking down the street going back home from school, when I see a new store opened. I'm not one who's a huge fan of shopping, but that's normally clothing-wise. It was an antique shop. I decided to check it out. You never know what you'll find. Maybe I'll actually buy something. I slowly opened the door and walked inside. A guy stood at the checkout counter, not looking that much more than a few years older than me. "Hello there! Welcome to Adam's Antiques!"(A/N: Haha... Anyone see what I did there?) he greeted me. "Hello!" I said back. "So, what brings you here?" the guy asked. "I saw that this store opened up, so I decided to check it out," I replied. "I'm Adam, by the way," the guy said. "I'm Ellie," I told him. "So, does anyone else work here?" I asked. "Just my dad," Adam replied. "He owns the place. Says he'll give it to me when he's too old to work here," he added. "Oh, cool," I said. I looked around. This stuff actually looks really cool! Then a bracelet caught my eye. It was a simple, silver chain charm bracelet. On the bracelet was a single charm. The charm was in the shape of a piece of loose leaf paper. It was really cute! Reminded me of the character on Inanimate Insanity, Paper. He's one of my favorites. I picked up the bracelet and tried it on. "Interested in the charm bracelet?" Adam asked me. I nodded. "It's really cute!" I exclaimed. "It's not really much of an antique. More like a souvenir or something. It goes with these," he told me, holding out a bag of charms. They were all II characters, both Season One and Two. "Are those the Inanimate Insanity characters?" I asked. He nodded, a bit surprised. "Who would've guessed that the first customer would've been a fellow II fan!" he said. We laughed a bit and I brought the bracelet to him. Yep, I'm gonna buy it. It was cute! And I don't want someone else to buy it. I purchased it and the other charms. "Thanks Adam!" I said. "I'll be back tomorrow," I added. "No problem! See you tomorrow!" he said, waving. I walked out and headed home. (A/N: Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa, wait a minute. Just a second. If you read the description, you read that a ring was the portal. A ring is the portal, but this was Ellie's first visit to the antique shop. She purchased the bracelet, but when she comes back, she buys the ring. Okay, enough of this author's note, I just wanted to clear things up. The bracelet is NOT the portal. Thanks for reading this long A/N)

Paper's POV:
I sat on my bed, in my room at hotel OJ. I was extremely bored. What to do... What to do... I thought. "Ugh, nothing exciting ever happens here anymore," I said to myself. I then heard a knock at my door. "Come in!" I said. The second I said those words the door quickly opened. OJ was standing there, looking worried. He quickly ran in and shut the door again. "OJ, wha-" I started to say. "Paper, you gotta hide me. Salt's after me!" he interrupted. "Um, okay? You could hide in my closet," I said. He dashed for the closet. I then heard another pair of footsteps, followed by the words, "OJ? WHERE ARE YOU?" Before I knew it, Salt had opened my bedroom door. "Paper, have you seen OJ?" she asked me. "Uh, nope. Haven't seen him," I said. "He must of went somewhere else," she said as she closed the door and left. I waited a few seconds before saying, "The coast is clear OJ." He came out of my closet and said, "Phew, glad that's over with." "For now," he added. I nodded in agreement. "Well, at least I won't have to deal with her for a little while," he said. I sighed accidentally. He looked at me. "Paper? You okay?" he asked, looking concerned. "It's just, really boring around here for me. Nothing exciting ever really happens," I explained to him. He nodded in understanding. "I get how you feel. Ever since Season Two started, it's been awfully quiet around here. Well, except when the Season Two cast came and cleaned the hotel," he said. "And whenever Salt is chasing you!" I pointed out. "So true," he said. We laughed. He then looked at me and said, "Don't worry Paper, things will change. I bet there'll be some excitement sooner than we think," he told me. I smiled. "Thanks OJ," I said. "OJ!" Salt called out again. "Uh oh," he said. He ran into my closet again. Salt opened the door and asked, "Paper, has OJ been in here yet?" I shook my head. "OJ!" she called out again before leaving. "Can I just live in your closet?" OJ asked jokingly. We laughed again as OJ walked out. "I better go outside for a walk or something. You wanna come?" he asked. "Sure OJ," I replied. I got off my bed and walked out of my room. We carefully walked outside, making sure Salt didn't see us. We walked around until we reached a lake. It was quite clear and pretty. OJ sighed a bit. I looked at him, confused. "Before Season Two started, I brought Marsh here. I was gonna tell her my feelings for her, but obviously that never happened," he explained. "Oh," I said. Aw, poor OJ. "At least you got to see her when they came to the hotel!" I said. "That's the problem. I was so caught up in being the host that I didn't talk to her much at all. I think I was taking the whole "hosting" job a bit too far. Now, she probably thinks of me as a terrible person," he said. "OJ, I doubt she thinks that," I said. "You're a great guy OJ! Just remember, even if Marsh is annoyed with you, she can't stay mad at someone forever. She'll forgive you," I explained. "You know, you're right Paper. I'm just getting myself overly worried about all of this," he replied. I then noticed that it was starting to get dark. "We should probably get back to the hotel," I said. OJ nodded in agreement. We headed back to the hotel. While we were walking, I thought about the lake. I really liked it. I knew that I was gonna go back there sometime. We reached the hotel and went inside. I ate some of the leftover pizza and went back upstairs. I brushed my teeth and then went into my room. I wasn't going to bed yet, I just wanted to read a book for a little while. I pulled out a book and sat down on my bed. I read a few chapters and then set it back on my bookshelf. I then turned off the lights and went to bed.

Ellie's POV:
Once I got home and ate some dinner, I went upstairs and got a shower. I then brushed my teeth and hair. Then I got in my bed. I started to re-watch Inanimate Insanity on my phone. It made me smile and laugh many times. I love that show so much. I watched a few episodes and then turned on some music. I then fell asleep a few minutes later.

A/N: Well, how do you like it so far? Now, you're probably wondering, "Ellie, why are you being shipped with a character from Inanimate Insanity?" Well, it's a really random thing that happened. I was role playing and Paper liked me apparently in this role play. When I told my friend that and we were also role playing, she started shipping me with Paper too. Paper is one of my favorite characters, and if I had to be shipped with one of them, it would be Paper. 😂
