"Annie, there are strange men coming, and I don't have much time. You have to promise me one last thing. Just one last simple thing for your brother," I can hear his heart racing, and his breathing increased.
I stare up at him, wide eyes and my.finger in my mouth. I felt a shiver run down my spine, that spread like a disease running through my body.
"I need you to forget everything that you see in the next half hour. You can't tell anyone about this, okay?"
I nod, but it was only afterwords when I realised how exceptionally hard it would be to keep such a promise.
