John: Dad can you shut up please your so loud
Adam: you are the reason I drink you know at least Arthurs the only decent one
Mary: don't you say that about my son

Adam: This kid is pathetic
John starts to tear up.
John: dad i
Adam: Shut up and go in your room
John leaves and Arthur comes in
Arthur: mom are you okay?
Mary: hey sweetie I'm sorry dad was yelling earlier
Arthur: I heard him yelling at John I'm gonna see if he's okay
Arthur knocks on John's door.
Arthur: John you okay?
John: yeah I'm fine dad I cant deal with him
Arthur: its okay dont worry about him your my brother and I love you
John: thank you.
The next morning.
Mary is in the dining room crying.
Arthur: mom
John: you okay
Mary: kids your father was killed in a car crash
They look slightly shocked but aren't surprised
Mary: I know he wasn't the best I dont blame you for not being sad but I'll let you stay home today
A few hours go by.
John answers the door
Abby: hey
John: oh hey babe
Abby: I heard what happend to your dad I'm really sorry
John: it's okay wanna come in
They sit down on the couch together
John: okay when we get older I think we should go
Arthur walks in.
Arthur: where John
John: oh Arthur me and her wanna leave
Abby: yeah to my old town
Arthur: why? Because of dad
John: yeah because I dont see me living here anymore
Abby: yeah I would like to move to my old town too
Arthur: I perfectly understand that
John: thanks Arthur
The months go by Arthur John have fun together. They go to parks and see movies.
3 years later
Arthur Age 18
Arthur: by his moms hospital bed
Arthur: mom you did a great job raising me
Mary: I know son
John: mom thank you for giving us a home together
Abby puts her arm around John
Arthur we love you mom
Mary: do good you three
They leave the hospital.
The funeral on a rainy day.
Arthur: I honestly don't know what to say
John: yeah she was always there for us she held up strong
Abby: I know how it feels john
John: you know I'm sure she thought of you as family too abby
Arthur: I'm positive she did you were close to us
After the funeral
A few days later.
Arthur John and Abby go to there local park.
Abby: I hope we can live together
John: yeah if we can get those plane tickets
Arthur: you know I'll miss you John
John: oh I know Arthur especially those elementary school days
Arthur: yeah our old freind group
John: yeah
Abby: oh my freind is here
4 girls walk up to abby
Jessica: hey Abby I was showing the new girls around
John:hey
Arthur: yo
Abby: Jessica who are these 2?
Jessica: we got Sarah
Sarah: hi
Arthur locks eyes with a girl with short hair.
John: who's that one
The girl mentions her name is Jen
Jen: oh im Jen
Abby: it's good to meet you here
Jessica: yeah we will be around soon
Jessica Sarah and Jen leave.
John: a few weeks until our plane
Abby: yeah
Arthur: I hope it's all good for you John
John: you too brother
John and Abby leave.
Arthur sits on the bench and looks out in the sunset
