mal's parents have gone rogue and mal disappeared to find the truth, and her real parents. on the way she finds her lost brother, her 'parents' told her he was dead. they only said that because jackie was getting close to finding the truth himself. so they banished him and sent him away. mal meets ember as well, a rebellious girl who fits the shining armor. together they have to work, to find the truth, and mal's and jack's real family. everyone has something in it for them, wether they know it or not.
