He slammed me up against the wall, my eyes wide from fear and shock. Alarmed at the force he used to push me and the cold look in his eyes.
They held such an intense seriousness int them that it almost scared me.
"Don't you ever try to get in my head."
For several heartbeats, we stayed in that position. Will my back flat against the wall, our chest centimetres apart, his hands keeping my wrists in a tight grip on either side of my head.
His eyes softened.
"It's too dark for an angel."
