A blue night,
One without sleep,
So he slips into his worn sneakers
Hides under that worn snapback
And takes off into the darkness..
The stars watch him from above
As he sneaks away noiselessly
His mind wont let him rest.
Within his dreams, he sees the demons within,
And so he finds escape in the late hours..
He seems to free his mind at night,
Says the moon, as she watches
Insomnia is no joke.
The stars gaze upon him with wonder
As shadows adorn his darkened features..
He dances in the dark,
The cool night air paints a smile on his face,
And he is content.
He is a free soul, a worriless sparrow,
A nocturnal pursuer of happiness..
At least before,
The moon says goodbye,
Only after,
The sun makes the hills its grave
