Awake.
I lie awake on my bed.
Listening to the birds chirping outside.
Feeling the cold air go through my hair as my mother left the fan turned on.

In about 5 seconds my mother will come and get me dressed for bed.

"Jake Im here to get you ready for school" I hear my mother say to me as she enters my room. I sit up not wanting to hurt myself.

"Here's your uniform I picked it up yesterday while you made friends"
Friends? Could I call them my friends? How will I know that they won't be fake like the others? All these thoughts roam my mind.

"Jake? Jake are you listening?" The mother asked waving her hand in front of jake.
"Huh?" Finally zoned out Jake looks at his mother. " oh.. sorry..." He manages to say wanting his voice not to Crack.

"It's fine.. but I was asking if you'd want me to change you Into your outfit"
"Oh no it's fine I got it, luckily I still have my hands" Jake jokes wanting to change the mood of the atmosphere.
His mother chuckles a bit, handing him his uniform.

"If you need help don't hesitate to call me okay..?"
"Yes mom I understand don't worry!" With that his mother left closing the door behind leaving a spaced out Jake behind.

"Our uniforms look a bit bland.." He whispers to himself.
Putting on his uniform was a bit struggling for Jake but in the end he successfully finished without needing help of his mother.

He looks at himself in the mirror.

"I guess it's alright.." He takes his school bag and goes out to meet his mother.
"Oh my!" His mother said surprised.
"You look stunning! I like your uniform it looks very good on you, especially the skirt!".
"Mommm" Jake says being red as a tomato.

"Oh don't be shy! You were skirts all the time!" She hands him a toast.

"Oh right!! a boy named Jungwon a friend of yours said that he's going to take you to school.. is that fine with y-you?" She stutters a bit making Jake wonder why.

He thinks to himself "why? Why would he do that?" "Yea mom it's fine I'll go over to his house then."
"Oh no no he's waiting outside in the front porch!" Jake wheels himself towards the front door.
"Bye mom I love you take care!"
"Bye sweetie, make sure to take your medications I left them inside your bag!"
She points to a pocket of the backpack.

Jake opens the door finding jungwon sitting on their patio chair.
"Oh hi! I found out that we were going to the same school so I thought you'd like me to walk you" jungwon said touching his nape.
"Yea it's fine don't worry I like people's company" He said with a warm smile.

They talked and walked till they made it to school.
"My friends are probably waiting for us let's go!" Jungwon wheeled jake to their lockers were they found sunoo giggling with they rest of the guys.

"Hey sunoo! Hey Jay and ni-ki!" Jungwon said giving then a hug.
"Hello jungwon I see your very happy today" Jay said "oh hey jake! I'm glad your a student here too then we can all hang out!" Nu-ki said smiling cheerfully.

"The reason I'm happy is... today sunghoon invited us to watch him skate!!"
"Sunghoon? Who's sunghoon?.. I'm guessing another friend of theirs.." jake thought looking at jungwon.
"Then what are we waiting for? He must be waiting for us let's go!" Jay said walking towards jake.

"Hey jake I can take you there if you want"
"No it's fine I got it" jake said
"It's better if I push you cause it gets pretty cold in there and there's ice on the floor sometimes, don't worry I'll take care of you" with that said Jay took him to the ice skating rink behind the school.

"I see him! He's right there!" Sunoo said pointing to a tall handsome boy skating so gracefully.

Jake was lost in the Boys talent. "Does he use drugs too to make him skate better?" He thought to himself. "How is he so talented?" He watched as sunghoon landed an axel jump like it was easy.

"How... how did he do that? That's one of the hardest tricks in ice skating.." jake asked still surprised by sunghoon.
"He's been skating since he was a child the axel jump is easy for him now" Jay said

"Sunghoon over here!!" Sunoo yelled grabbing his attention as he finished his practice.
He glided himself towards the others spotting jake.
"Who's he....?" He questioned himself.

"Hey guys long time no see huh?" Sunghoon said making the others chuckle.
"We missed you! Your always dedicating your life on ice skating you know that?" Ni-ki whined.

"Eh I like skating its my life ice is my life"
"Oh right sunghoon meet jake! He lives in our neighborhood now!!" Sunoo said cheerfully.

"Oh yea my name is shim jaeyoon but you can call me jake"
"Hi Jake, my name is park sunghoon you can just call me sunghoon"
"You're really good out there y'know? Landing an axel jump is one of the hardest tricks on ice... how'd you do it-?" Jake asked him their eyes meeting each other.

They stared at each other for some time.
Both memorized by their beauty.
"Uhh guys? Hellooo? Anyone there?" Ni-ki waved his hand in front of them taking them out of each other's gaze.

"Huh? Oh sorry" sunghoon bowed at them
"Gosh don't bow at us we're friends not classmates.. Also your gay is showing sunghoon" Jay whispered the last part so only sunghoon could hear.

That made sunghoon go red as a tomato
"Stop teasing jayy" the boy whined hitting him light on his chest.
