Sung-Kyung was dragged downstairs. They wanted to buy something related to their favorite boys. She roams around quietly and saw familiar faces on merchandises in one of the racks. They are all successful now, living their dreams.
She decided to wait for her friends outside the market since she won't buy anything. She seated near the practice room. The curtains are currently open so she assumes that no one is there to practice. She used to hang out here in her free time back then but, she never entered that practice room. They have a different ones for trainees.
Her friends are really taking their time to buy whatever they wanted not to mention, spending too much on their allowances. She turns on her phone and started randomly checking things on the internet to kill time.
He saw her as soon as he went down to the basement. Indeed, his little sister grew up into a fine lady, that he already knew. He is looking for a way to get where she is without being noticed. She was with her friends when he spotted her earlier.
And now she is now sitting on one of the chairs. It must've been uncomfortable to be here after leaving the company a little over a year ago. He can see how hard she tried to keep a low profile in case, someone who knew her pass by.
She suddenly stood up and went to the comfort room. She still knows where to get there after all she memorizes every room in this building like the back of her hand.
Nothing has changed, she thought. Everything is still the same with few things in addition. It is familiar yet strange.
She sighed and took off her mask and hat. 'The coast is clear,' She thought before starting to freshen up herself.
She has been sweating nonstop due to the tense feeling of someone might be caught her roaming around the building. She doesn't know why she feels so tense anyway. It's not like they will walk up to her when they see her, they probably might not notice her like the older ones a while ago.
After a few minutes, she went out and walk down the hallway. "It's been a while, Lami-yah." A man with a quite deep, cool yet sweet tone of voice spoke to which she immediately recognized.
'Oppa!' She thought.
Before she could say anything else, this oppa pulled her to a secluded space where cameras and people won't catch them.
"Mian, I have to pull you here. There's a lot of people outside. We can't talk without them noticing." He said pulling out his hoodies and mask off. She looked at this oppa and how much he changed over time yet remained the same.
She was thinking, when was the last time they saw each other? "How have you been?" He asked patting her head lightly, messing her hair up.
"I haven't heard from you for quite a while. Oppa missed you so much." He said. "How did you know I was here?" That's the first thing she asked. She was still shocked by his sudden stunt a while ago.
"Leeteuk hyung and Eunhyuk hyung sent me a photo taken in the cafe and Xiumin hyung went to our practice room with Sehun hyung to tell me they saw you." He said, getting a chair for her to sit on.
"You're not exactly good at disguises plus, you cannot expect people won't recognize you. We practically grew up in this place after all." He said. They are in one of the practice rooms in the basement which is not accessible to many people.
"Yeah, we really grew up in this place. I was dragged here by my friends, actually." She said. "And I assumed they don't know anything about your past." He said to which she nodded yes.
"Well 2 of them knew but, the one who dragged us here didn't. She is a big fan of yours, oppa. I might get killed if she found out I was close to you." Sung-Kyung joked.
