Evacuation

"4 of you! Get everyone to safety!"
Y/n exclaimed loudly, Zenitsu, Murata and Tanjiro nodding as they ran hurried everyone outside

Booming screams were heard, loud cries at the sight of people on the ground

Valt was speechless, Rantaro was on the ground
Blood dripping down, scratches all over his arms, more importantly he was unconscious

Rantaro saved Valt.

"MOVE"
Murata noticed the poor boy gawking on his friend
He ran towards him as chaos progressed

"His injuries are not that bad so dont worry, we'll get him healed! Now let's get to safety!"

Though the blue boy didn't move, which concerned Murata

"What are you doing?!?"

Valt slowly averted his head to eye the slayer, and points to the boy on the ground
He stares with wide eyes and a dead expression

"What do you mean 'not that bad'? Are you blind? His body got split in half."

Y/n and Muichiro arrived at the source

A huge dust cloud covered the scene, it looked like it came falling from above due to the visible cracks below

Y/n didn't let this falter them, as they continued to examine the area

'Is that.. Rantaro?'

"LOOK OUT"
Inosuke shouted with his deafening voice, quickly saving a person from getting hurt from the debris

Y/n quickly shook it off and focused on the situation, they can't let it distract them.

Muichiro quickly dealt with the demon upfront

The others were evacuating everyone, along with Inosuke

Y/n didn't dare to look back, and convinced themself that everyone is safe

Taking a deep breath, Y/n felt their power rushing through their blood as they jumped towards the creature with intimidating speed

*shwiing*

A loud screech was heard as Y/n pulled out their katana from the sheath, in a blink of an eye every spec of dust vanished as the demon was nowhere to be seen

They quickly ran to it as soon as they saw a glimpse of it, this time Y/n tackled it as the demon stopped them with one hand

Long hair, pale, baggy clothes similar to Muichiro
Two small horns on the forehead with black pattern scratch marks on his neck,
Everything else was covered.

And its eyes.. were closed?

They furrowed their brows,

"This is a tough one."

Y/n summersaulted back and landed with a straight form before it could do anything more

They exhaled and proceeded to try another breathing form
(Nah cuz yall can imagine your own breaths, im too lazy sorry💀)

Blow after blow, the demon wasn't giving an opening for the two

Y/n was thinking of a strategy while everything was happening in lightning speed

The demon was unfazed, it hasn't moved from its current position

Surprisingly, the cracked surface beneath it still hasn't fallen

Wait..

They sprinted away, the demon noticed but quickly turned to Muichiro who was keeping it busy

*BAAM*

The ground cracks from severe force

Coming from above, the demon reacted fast and held off Y/n again with the other limb dealing with Muichiro

Because of the weight and strength Y/n was feeding off, the creature struggled to push them off and was briefly being pushed into the ground

"GO FOR IT!!"
Y/n kept holding it off, signalling for the other to finish it already

Finally, Muichiro cut off its arm and went for the neck

*swing*

"What?!"

Was Muichiro's reaction as his eyes widened

A small attachment on its neck grew, a mini hand to be exact, holding the blade that was milliseconds away from cutting the neck

Y/n scoffed and both of them backed up, the demon smirked in quite excitement

"My, my.. both of you have such magnificent power. You must be hashiras no? I simply cannot wait to tear both of you apart."

A raspy, gruffed voice came out from its mouth, unfortunately this did not faze the hashiras

It launched its next attack, growing more and more limbs from palm to palm

'It got faster!'

Y/n thought, deflecting another attack as sparks flew through

'And these arms are CRAZY tough.. I guess I gotta launch a better attack'

With a flick of a wrist, Y/n sliced every hand/arm in their way

Meanwhile with Inosuke,

"OI MONJIRO WHERE ARE YOU?"

Inosuke shouted for his friend, pronouncing his name wrong for the 8292th time
(Exaggerated btw)

"Damn it, I need to get this guy to Gonpanchiro and the others so I can beat that demons ass"

He looks around, going into random directions while calling Tanjiro's name in 5 different ways

"AUAUAAHHGH WHERE IS HE?!"

Impatient, he continues fume with a visible anger symbol on his temple
(Guys I think he's angry)

While the guy he saved, awkwardly followed him behind and hoping to get back with his friends already

Suddenly, the ground rumbles as he fell on his butt

Inosuke stood straight, looking through the top of the trees to see a huge dust cloud, bigger than earlier

He climbs up a tree branch, getting a closer look

"Tsk, I wanna kick ass too!"

"W-wait!-"

Without a second thought, he jumps towards the fighting scene leaving his companion alone

He shivers from the cold air, anxiously walking towards where hopefully everyone was

With a few dozen more steps and shivers, he hears a voice that was seemingly calling for him

"OIII OVER HEEREEE"

'Is that who the boar head was mentioning? Monjiro? No- Kentaro?'

He runs towards him with all the energy he had

Tanjiro wore a gentle reassuring expression
"Are you okay? I'm guessing Inosuke got you here"

'So his name was Inosuke? Woah, this guy is so kind compared to him'

"Follow me, I bet you were looking for your friends. And don't worry, if any demon comes out I'll protect you"

He nodded, as Tanjiro turned to lead him to everyone

Somehow, he felt comfortable around him, it reminded him of Valt but more matured

"Wait"
He stopped, Tanjiro immediately noticing as he turned to him

"Hm?"

"What's your name?"

"Its Tanjiro Kamado! What's yours?"

"Its.. Kit Lopez"
