Mira came to school quite early again. She'd make sure that Arlan, that diligent boy had arrived in the college earlier to accompany her. Instead of being scared after almost falling off the stairs, Mira was dying to meet the culprit instead. The person only dared to make a sneak attack.

If it was a man, she'd chop off what had made him a man. And if that was a woman, she'd make sure that the person would never look like one anymore.

That just how angry she was.

Mira's cheek was flushed red in fury as she remembered her condition again. She'd not be able to play basketball for a while. Her body recovery was indeed better than most humans, yet it was nothing compared to the real werewolves.

As she walked through the hallway, Mira limped slightly. No matter how she tried to walk like a normal, she couldn't. It made her slightly missed her personal car-- Azarias.

"What happened to your feet?" The voice laced with concern entered Mira's ears. She looked up, expecting it to be Arlan. However, in an instant, her face turned into a scowl.

It turned out to be that prick, Jason. Why is this person approaching her now?

She ignored him and kept on walking.

For a split second, Mira caught the sight of his stunned face when she didn't respond to him and turned her head away. What an annoyingly confusing guy.

"Where's that punk?" Mira muttered under her breath.

He isn't trying to prank her, is he? Mira thought. However, it seemed less likely. Despite having that unreliable look, Arlan was actually one of the strongest werewolves out there. He just disliked being in trouble and avoid them as much as possible, though sometimes it was impossible. That guy's caring and protective nature could be felt by those he considered his friends.

The more Mira walked, the more she frowned. There were other footsteps behind her. A frown and irritation were written all over her face. She stopped, intending to give way to Jason so that he could pass first.

Jason also stopped, looking at her with confusion, until a moment later a look of realization struck him.

"Why are you stopping now?" Mira snapped. "Look, the path is wide open."

Come to think of it, Mira couldn't help but ponder about yesterday's matter. That hooded person had come for her intending to kill, though for some reason stopped halfway.

Is it one of her enemies? With her unyielding temper, she had offended quite a lot of people after all.

His gaze at her had turned colder somehow. "Your foot is hurt."

Mira frowned at him. "Yes, and then?"

"Let me accompany you to your class?" He said with a tone of annoyance.

Mira frowned. This guy was clearly annoyed, but why did he bother voluntarily offer help like this?

"No need." Mira shook her head. She tried to walk faster so that she could get away from Jason sooner.

Having an injured foot was indeed such an inconvenience. Inwardly, Mira cursed that person who had made her like this once again.

However, a sudden flash of notion appeared in her head. Could that person possibly be...

"Don't you act like this to gain my attention?" Jason's rough voice sounded in Mira's ears. Mira was stunned momentarily that her thoughts were cut off, her mind blank.

When she recovered her senses, the words uttered by Jason slowly sink in. Mira's eyes widened in disbelief. What the hell is wrong with this self-important, delusional guy?
