Raging went my eyes and mind for the tale it then beheld
A four-horned serpent, flagrant there, sat firm upon the air
With its breath poured forth a tinge of the fire of hell
Its awesome cry was met with quaking of the earth upon the cliff where I stood as if it feared the great beast

Serpent! I put forth with a loud whisper, and it turned its stony visage towards me
I stared hard into its eyes, wondering
Flaming eyes, bleeding dead souls into the clouds above us and as its
eyes centered on me, so too, the bleeding flowed toward me now

Vile creatures, black
Forgotten memories from a race long gone
Fifty heads encircled me, a thousand violent eyes
Tasting me with fingers of black smog

Delicate hands in my own I felt, trembling and saw her face staring up into mine
Alison? My heart, ripped, became as dust
Daddy? Warm tears flowed down her face
The most beautiful being my heart had ever known, long lost to the world yet before me she stands
Have I been slain? But the beast still lingers here
How, my darling, have you come to be beside me?
Your mother's tears have kept my heart wet ever since that day.
I don't know daddy, but I've missed you so
And I crumble in the child's embrace

Life resumes, the demon souls still there
Defense becomes alive to protect her smile
I'll never lose you again!
The demons close in on me, but the child's eyes hold no fear
Beyond the smile I see the beast wading slowly nearer,
its bleeding eyes fixed on my face
And with its approach all the smog turns to air to return from whence they came

Not a moment to breathe, its face right before me,
I can feel its breath tear through my skin
Jaw bones creak with the sound of death as it moves now, it seems, to feed

Thunder from its throat with the words of a man;
You have tasted old joy, now shall you feel new pain
Beside you stands the queen of your heart
For you have fed on despair,
Alas! she stands now there
Be gone!  And thus it begins
