CRACKING OF LEAVES

In the immense silence of the night,
Everybody packed themselves in their houses,
Outside there was something diverting,
The crackling of leaves.

The weather was windy,
The whole environment was dancing,
Leaves were playing the music,
Making the surrounding so fascinating.

Falling of leaves with unknown emotion,
With the sound of wavy winds,
And just you, alone in that crackling night,
Witnessed the soft quarrel of leaves.

A quarrel of not leaving each other,
A promise to come back even after death,
The crackling can be happiness cum sadness,
It can be cries of never seeing one another.

You and crackling dry leaves,
Shares the same boat in the life,
Their sound as beautiful as unexplainable,
Maybe because you heard it for the first time.
