Ian was just about stunned when Mickey said those words. He's pregnant. How in the hell was that possible? Males couldn't get pregnant. This had to be a cruel sick joke.

"You're...what?" Ian asked, making sure he heard his lover correctly.

"Pregnant. Ya know having your kid grow inside my gut for 9 months. That pregnant" Mickey replied.

The young redhead was indeed shocked by this, he was gonna be a teenage father. "Wha- what do you wanna do?"

"I can't have this kid. My father will kill me and the kid not to mention probably you"

"I'm not scared, I'd do anything for you and this baby. Our baby"

"You can't say anything to anyone, if you do I'll knock you teeth out of your head and rip your tongue out"

"I won't. I just don't understand how this could happen"

"Let's see when two people really like each other they do a very special hug and that's how it happened" He used a sarcastic tone. "You stuck you're dick in my ass that's how this happened"

"Y-you like me?"

Mickey grabbed the back of his neck and kissed him. "Of course I do. Just for the time being, keep your mouth shut"

"I will. We'll be good parents I know we will"

"I can't keep this baby Ian, you don't understand. You'll never understand. When my dad finds out he will kill me and this baby"

"Not if I stop him"

"He'll take you down too. I think. I think the best thing is I don't have this baby"

"Don't say that Mickey"

"I won't be a good father. I know it. If anything I'll be like my piece of shit father and beat it"

The young redhead softened his expression. "That's not true. If it means anything, I think you'll be a great father. You'll do whatever it takes to protect this baby. And I'll help you"

"Can we even raise a kid? You and you're crazy mental family, me and my racisit homophobic narcastic family. We'd be major fuck ups"

"I always told myself, if I ever had a kid. I'd be a better parent. Better than Frank. Better than Monica. I won't walk away not like her or Frank. You won't be anything like your father. You'll love the baby. You'll love it, cherish it, protect it. I have faith that you will be a good father. You won't be anything like Terry"

"You don't know that" Mickey's voice shook. He was scared. Scared for him, scared for Ian. But more importantly, he's scared for the sake of their child. "I'll be just like him. After all I am my father's son"

"No you're not. I can show you that you aren't"

"How are you gonna show me?"

"I'll raise this baby with you. It's half Gallagher, half Milkovich. It's gonna be strong, fierce, have a fighting spirit, just like you"

"It'll be bat shit crazy like both of us"

"Then all three of us will be a bat shit crazy family. If you're worried that your dad will hurt the baby, let the baby live with me. You can come whenever you want to visit"

"I...I can't do this right now. I can't. I just can't" He went past the young redhead.

"Mickey wait"

"Just keep you're trap fuckin shut until I think of something. It's my body, my decision. You tell a soul and I'll beat you down like an old pinata"

Before the young Gallagher could get a word out Mickey took off, the young dark haired boy went home. Thankfully Terry wasn't home knowing the old piece of shit he was either on a run, out getting drunk or his other usual place, in jail.

Going to his room he shut and locked the door. Running panicked hands through his hair he was trying to even out his breathing. A sudden overwhelming of emotions were hitting him? The fuck was going on? Something leaked from his eyes. Something wet? What the fuck? Was he crying? Big badass Mickey Milkovich doesn't cry. Not for anything or anyone.

He could hear his father now if he saw him. "Your a fucking pussy men don't cry. Milkovich men don't cry unless your a pussy and in my house I don't raise those"

Plopping down on his bed he reached over grabbing the sonogram off his nightstand. He just stared at it. The black and white picture of a little blob that was a baby. His baby. His and Ian's. He couldn't subject his child to the life he and Ian has. Both boys dirt poor. Having to steal or scam for money. Living in crowded houses.

That was no place for a baby, a baby deserves to be with two loving parents who can give them everything they need. Who can love and cherish them. Who can protect and shelter them. He knew he couldn't do that, he wasn't meant or cut out to be a father.

He then thought about what Ian had told him. "If it means anything, I think you'll be a great father. You'll do whatever it takes to protect this baby. You won't be anything like your father. You'll love the baby. You'll love it, cherish it, protect it. I have faith that you will be a good father. You won't be anything like Terry"

Could Ian actually be right? Could Mickey be a father? Be better than Terry? Mickey's mind swirled with questions he didn't know what to do. He left his room and went to find Ian.

Ian was getting off of work when Mickey showed up, it was as if Mickey always knew where Ian was whenever he needed him. When they needed each other. Turning the young redhead saw the dark haired Milkovich.

"Mickey, what's wrong? Are you ok? Is..is the baby ok?" Ian lowered his voice so no one could hear.

"I'm fine, so is the rugrat. Any way we gotta talk" Mickey said, it sounded as if he made his decision.

Ian swallowed down hard. "What is it?"

"If..it's a big if. If I were to keep the baby. You'd wanna be apart of it's life? Help me take care of it and raise it? Be..ya know parents"

The teenboy broke into a smile. "You...you really mean it?"

"Don't start getting sappy with me Gallagher. It's bad enough I'm dealing with emotions and shit I don't need that"

"It's just the hormones, they're making you emotional"

He remembered when his mother was pregnant with his younger siblings the hormones were all over the place mixed with the Bipolar she had.

"Yeah well I fucking hate it"

"It's not so bad"

"So are we doing this or not?"

"Hell yeah we are. Does this mean..were together?"

Every fiber in Mickey's body wanted to scream, YES! But Mickey was still too scared of his father and what he would do if he ever found out. "Not a chance in hell, just because we're two people having a kid doesn't mean we have to be a couple. We'll just raise the kid together without being a couple"

"Oh" Ian was disappointed. "I guess that works too"

"I guess...we're having a baby"
