Now so Off is bothered about many things and Gun is worried but he also wants to bang his head on the wall a several times because he has made the mistake of seeking New's advice.

"Look at your wings. They are losing all their shine. Their magic is fading away. If you think your continuous use of that potion is going to do any good, I would clearly say you are mistaken.'' New repeats. The same old story narrated in almost the same words.

There are moments in which Gun feels that he is losing both his boyfriend and his best friend. This is one such moment.

"So no one involves me in their arguments. This is so unfair.'' Tay barges into New's chamber with more familiarity than anyone else in their realm and doesn't even bother to apologize for a broken vase which he accidentally and unfortunately stumbled into while making his dramatic entrance.

He flies colliding into New and presses a sweet kiss on his lips before saying,
 ''Let me handle this.''

Gun finds New nodding lovingly at his boyfriend, all that rage burning throughout their so-called best friends' talk was gone in a minute.

This so unfair afterall. Gun mumbles parroting Tay's words.

"Trouble in paradise?'' Tay wastes no time getting to the main point.

"Only if New can stop complaining about me to Off.'' Gun whines earning a threatening glare from his best friend which he decidedly ignores.

"He's worried about you Gun. In fact we both are. But that's not the only thing that is making Off avoid you.''

"I know. We just had a small fight about how Off doesn't have time for me and now Off is not even willing to talk with me. That sounds so petty to hold a grudge on unless he's bothered about something else like New complaining about the potion and he being swarmed by hunters.'' Gun barely manages to keep his voice from raising a volume higher.

"Those are issues too. But look at the big picture, Gun.  Everyone knows about you and Off. Just because the Elders don't complain to you directly, it doesn't mean that they are happy with what you are doing.'' Tay reasons.

"Whoever I love is none of their concern.'' Gun snaps because it enrages him when others make it a point to interfere with how he wants to live his life.

"Exactly. I agree with you Gun. they shouldn't be bothered but clearly they are. So..''
Sometimes Gun forgets. That this is the same boy against whom Nature seems to work. This boy who can't but bump into a tree while flying, who can't but  break anything he touches, who carries insects in his bags, it is the same boy now offers him advice.

"You mean to say they are making Off avoid me?'' This is something he hasn't thought about.

"I'm saying it is also a possibility. We can't ignore the fact that they have a role to play when it comes to your relationship with Off. They summon Off more often than necessary, don't they? '' Tay points out and Gun finds himself unconsciously nodding.
