Bittersweet Delirium

Due to lack of motivation, and now-deleted tweets from Zach main that were anti-semitic, which made me very upset and uncomfortable, I will be canceling this project. 

I will explain where the story would have gone, so you aren't left wondering what would have happened: (trigger warning for mentions of suicide)

knify can go into the mansion with the plushes by sleeping with his old plush of kurasan, who was brought to life by kracty.

knify would have bonded with the plush versions of the CFMOT contestants, and would have wanted to return to his old friendship with kurasan in the real world, but also would have not acted on it out of a fear of rejection. due to lightbolb being possessed, she would have acted more distantly with knify in the real world, making knify feel isolated in the real world.

he would have dealt with that by sleeping more to go to the mansion and would start hiding from the others (in fear of being bullied for having the plush). this behavior worsens until he sleeps almost all the time outside of challenges, making the others worried

meanwhile kurasan would start realizing his actions (this would have been an au where he was not eliminated) and want to apologize. but his pride, and the fact knify is not around much anyways, prevents him.

as for the kurasan plush, kracty brought it to life hoping it would give knify nightmares (he thought it was a voodoo doll knify made to torture). but the plush, remembering how his owner loved him so much, and only hid him due to the sour relationship between his look-a-like, wouldn't want revenge. he would mostly blame kurasan for the bad relationship, as he really only saw how it affected knify and not what caused it.

however, it fears losing knify again, either due to being buried or the others finding out. that, combined with thinking that he is knify's only real friend  (he doesn't have a realistic view of the other contestants as well, since he never meets them in person) leads him to make a plan to turn knify into a plush like him, so they could stay together.

the plush tries to make the mansion the best place it can be for knify to prove he will be happier to stay there rather than awakening. knify avoids the question of staying, not being sure. but the events in the real world (including lighbolb being possessed and knify misinterpreting the other's concern as distaste) worsen things to the point he starts to consider it.

it reaches a breaking point when he overhears "lightbolb" saying she doesn't like him and finds him irritating. devastated, he goes to sleep and accepts the offer to stay. the plush leads his sleeping body to the well, which was infused with kracty's magic.

from here, I planned two different endings that I intended to make.

the bad ending is knify being made into a plush, and the others looking for him the next day. they find his footsteps leading to the well, and kurasan fishing the plushes out. they never figure out what really happened, thinking he either ran away or committed suicide. meanwhile, knify is stuck in the mansion, his memories erased and thinking things were always like this.

the good ending has them find knify walking to the well before, and stop them. yokasha figures out what was happening, and takes the push away from knify. knify, feeling at that point his only "friend" was being taken from him, ends up actually trying to commit suicide to everyone's horror. (poor knify, I'm honestly tearing up a bit writing this). he ends up in the hospital, with everyone clearing things up, and apologizing for their actions. kurasan and knify agree to try and become friends again, and kurasan reveals he still had the knify plush with him. yokasha brings it to life, and the knify and kurasan plush get to talk things out as well.

I have a bit of the bad ending ready written, so if you want to see it please say so. I am planning to work on a new project (hopefully better updated) and am open to suggestions.
