TW: Slightly heated scene 👀

Dream POV

A good six hours later, it was completely dark out, the landscape around them bathed in moonlight. Dream glanced up at the sky to see the full moon looking down upon him, the bright white orb surrounded by an ensemble of twinkling stars that winked in the night.
Returning his gaze to the terrain in front of him, Dream saw a village in the distance. He recognized it. He had passed it several times whenever he left his house to explore.
If they were just now coming up on the village, that meant that his home was still hours away. Dream glanced down at his horse, a handsome roan stallion he'd had for so long he had begun to call it Arion, named after the fastest horse in the world from Greek mythology.
Arion was breathing heavily, sweat giving his butterscotch coat a sparkling sheen. For the sake of his weary horse, Dream got off, leaving Y/N draped across the horses back (not a very comfortable position to sleep in).
Dream led Arion into the village and tethered him to a well, not particularly worried about the mobs bothering him. He gently picked Y/N off of the horse's back and carried her into an empty villager's house, laying her down on a bed and tucking the sheets over her with surprising gentleness and care, considering he had legit kidnapped her against her will.
Taking another look at the girl's sleeping face, a smile spread across his face, his bestial teeth showing. It wasn't a kindly smile. More like a wolf sizing up its prey.
He sat down in the other corner of the house, gazing at the girl from afar, not wanting to wake her. His expression softened for just a moment, his wolfish grin melting into a warm smile, and his fiery bright green eyes fading into sparkling leaf-colored orbs. But they almost immediately reverted back into a murderous red, his soft smile turning into a sneer as a voice rang in his ears: Do not get distracted. This girl is not worth your time. You must not forget what your goal is.
Shaking his head, Dream stood up, striding out of the door and past Arion, who looked up curiously.
He kept walking away from the village and to the mountain nearby. He rummaged through his leather bag, pulling out a pickaxe and slinging the bag back over his shoulder. He began to mine into the mountain, going forward and down and occasionally setting torches against the wall so he could find his way back out again.
He mined tirelessly, the dark voice in his head encouraging him to continue.
There was one thing the voice told him that kept him going without rest:
Eventually, you'll have made it to the Ender Dragon and you'll be able to see your friends again. Imagine that.
Dream breathed heavily with exhaustion, his arms burning. But he forged on. He'd do anything to have his friends back. He mined well into early morning, blinded by the desire to see his friends again and completely unaware that he had become a slave to the voice in his own head.

Y/N POV

Y/N woke up to the sound of a horse neighing, morning sunlight flooding through the windows and bathing
Y/N in warmth. She sat up, yawning and stretching and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Looking around, she could almost believe she was back home in her hut, but the events of the previous day came flooding back to her like a tidal wave. Her (caregiver) dying, getting kidnapped and taken several miles from her village. She faintly remembered falling asleep on the horse, and the man carrying her to a bed.
She slid out from under the covers, standing up on the cold wood floor of the hut. Y/N stretched once again, reaching her arms above her and standing on her tiptoes before relaxing and heading over to the hut's window. The village was alive and full of hustle and bustle, villagers passing by and engaging in trade, people tending to crops, iron golems lumbering around. It reminded her of her own village before . . . well, you know.
Raking her hands through her messy hair, Y/N opened the door and stepped out of the hut, her feet landing on a soft dirt path that wound gently around crops and huts. Digging her toes into the soil,  Y/N began walking around, dodging speed-walking villagers and iron golems. This village was significantly larger than her home. She passed by a well that had a beautiful horse tethered to it that seemed familiar. She then recognized it to be the horse she had ridden on the previous night.
She went over to it and reached her hand out, turning her palm away from it's snout and letting it sniff her, almost like a dog. It decided it liked her and whinnied, snuffling her hand as if he expected food.
Y/N smiled. "Sorry, buddy," she said softly, stroking his snout. "I don't have anything for you."
He huffed, as if to say, I rode for ten hours last night and you have nothing for me?
"If you want food you'll have to ask your rider . . ." she faltered as a shadow loomed from behind her, seemingly have crept up on her. She turned around to see Dream (Clay, wacko, whatever) standing before her, a leather sack over his shoulder and a pickaxe in his hand. He was covered in sweat and dirt, cuts littering his face and arms. He looked as if he had rolled through a pile of sharp stones.
He looked weary, but his eyes still burned bright and his bestial smile was as spine-chilling as ever.
"Why, good morning, darling," he cooed, reaching his hand out to touch Y/N's face. She backpedaled into the horse, causing him to neigh and stomp. But when he saw that it was just Y/N, he craned his neck over her as if to protect her from Dream.
Dream raised an eyebrow. "Arion likes you," he stated. "That's rare."
Y/N didn't reply. What could she say? Cool. Your horse likes me. Do you think he likes me enough to the point he'll listen to me if I tell him to trample you?
"How did you sleep last night, tulip?" Dream queried softly, stepping a bit closer.
Y/N didn't reply.
He frowned. "Come now," Dream said, pouting. "Don't be scared. I would never hurt you."
"Y-you sure about that?" Y/N blurted before she could stop herself. She immediately turned red and looked down, ashamed that she had even replied to him.
His eyebrow raised and he smiled, his fangs glinting (kinda hot ngl-).
"You spoke," he said happily. "Beautiful. Now that I know you don't have quite enough nerve to ignore me completely, let me ask you something." Moving closer, he pushed past Arion and shoved her against the brick well (no, I didn't misspell wall, remember that they're next to Arion who's tethered to a well), putting his face closer to hers and grinning. "You're probably curious as to why I spared your life and took you with me. Well, the answer is simple . . ." He tilted his head to whisper in her ear: "I have taken a liking to you, tulip, so now you have no choice but to stay by my side for as long as I so choose. Understand?" (Bruv control freak much-)
Shivering and tight-lipped, Y/N said nothing but simply glared at him.
Dream backed away, not letting go of her but putting distance between them so he could reach out and touch her face. "Good. I don't need you to say anything. Now come along," he said, pulling her back towards Arion lifting her onto the horse's back and getting on. "I've already taken what I need from this village, so let's keep moving shall we?"

End of part two.

A/N Uhhh sorry that chapter was kind of just my word vomit lol but hope you enjoyed 💮 btw what did you think of the little spicy scene at the end? 👀 there's probably gonna be a lot of things like that in the future to just tell me if that was too much and I can tone it down, if it was ok then I'll keep writing those scenes in the story
