"I'm not ready," Mafuyu said with worry written on his face to his friends, Hiiragi and Shizusumi, while preparing for his first date. He couldn't help smiling, Hiiragi came over to him to help him adjust his collar.

"You are, I know you are, we both know that," Hiiragi said in a voice that was slightly louder than a whisper.

Mafuyu looked at both of them, his friends that had been there since his dad got arrested for abuse, they even checked if he was okay from time to time.Really caring people he might add. Mafuyu looked at the time, it was 5:57 pm, he was gonna be late. Despite Yuki living next to him, Mafuyu always arrived early to see him whether it be a group study or just having dinner with his family, Mafuyu was never late.

Mafuyu got his essentials wallet, keys and phone. Yuki was meant to pick Mafuyu up only because Yuki already has his driver's license. Mafuyu had no clue where Yuki was taking him, he would have made smart guesses but that would ruin the surprise. He glanced back at the clock on his desk, 6:14 pm, Yuki was late...

Mafuyu started to fidget in his seat. Shizusumi was the first to notice his anxiousness, he signalled to Hiiragi. Upon noticing it, they quickly got up from their seats on the bed to Mafuyu.

"Fuyu....Mafuyu Satou!" Mafuyu jolted almost falling off his seat. Shizusumi kept on repeating Mafuyu's name till he had answered.

"Wait what, why're your guys shouting?" Mafuyu questioned them, looking confused.

"You were fidgeting, you only do that when you are anxious and or sad,"Hiiragi said observing if Mafuyu got space out again.

Sighing Shizusumi walked away to get his phone. He dialled a number, eventually after a couple rings the person on the other side of the phone answered.

"Hello?" The phone was on speaker so the three of them could hear.

"Hey Yuki, where are you right now?" Shizusumi asked without even saying hello back.

"Oh uh I am at the... that one place," Supposedly the other person was Yuki replied with uncertainty.

This time it was Mafuyu's turn to talk,"Did you forget about our date?" He sounded as though he wanted to cry but was holding it back.

"Eh, Mafuyu? Wait wait wait I didn't forget about it in fact uh some things went south and uh i had to go to the place to do some stuff. How about this, you sit down where you are and not worry about a thing, I'll pick you up at, let's see 7 pm latest, I promise. I just want everything to be perfect," Yuki was trying hard almost as if to try and convince Mafuyu.

Mafuyu couldn't help but trust his lover's words. Hope was at the back of his mind. Hiiragi looked at Shizusumi, as if they were telepathically talking to each other. In unison, that both got up and tried to find things that'll distract Mafuyu.

They walked around the room, through the kitchen but almost no luck. They decided it was best to either talk and enjoy or play a board game of some sort. They chose to just combine both, Mafuyu couldn't care less if he had played or not but it wasn't as though he had a choice.

So there they were playing like little boys again. Laughing loudly, though it seems Mafuyu was physically there his mind was wondering what may have gone wrong to the point where Yuki had to just be there to fix it.

Yuki dialled Shizusumi's number to ask for them to bring Mafuyu down. Shizusumi tapped Hiiragi's knee.When Hiiragi loomed at Shizusumi. Shizusumi gave him an eye signal, meaning for him to go out to talk. Mafuyu did not realise they had stepped out. A minute later, they came back with a cloth, and in a flash they tied Mafuyu's eyes up so he could no longer see. This was not what Yuki had asked at all. Mafuyu wanted to scream or make a cry for help thinking he was getting kidnaped. But the sounds of his friends' voices told him that it was fine and to shush.

Yuki was chilling outside the car waiting for Mafuyu to arrive. Upon seeing him, Yuki gasped, mainly because he was blindfolded. Not his first thought to blindfold him but it will work, he thinks to himself. Quickly opening the door for Mafuyu. Mafuyu entered with slight difficulty. Yuki closed the door so Mafuyu could not hear what Yuki said to Shizusumi and Hiiragi.

"Thanks guys for keeping him company," Yuki said with a light chuckle since Mafuyu was like a small child needing to be taken care of.

"Yeah no problem," Shizusumi and Hiiragi said in unison.

Getting in the car, Yuki turned it on. Mafuyu jumped a little.

"Whoops, uhm Mafuyu wanna listen to the radio or you wanna talk?" Yuki asked before an awkward silence could be made.

"Uh can we just listen to the radio?" Mafuyu muttered.

Yuki turned on the radio and changed it to channel Given. The first that played after he had changed it was 'Fuyu No Hanashi' by the band Given. Mafuyu and Yuki vibes to the song, probably because it was their favourite song despite the saddening lyrics about losing a lover.

Take note that Mafuyu was still blindfolded so he had no sense of what Yuki was doing or where they were going. Mafuyu was just chilling, vibing. He started to hum the tune of the song, Yuki noticed this and started to sing to it. Mafuyu slowly joined him till the both of them started to just sing the catchy song.

Singing really brought them both to feel really calm. Yuki played the guitar and was good at singing; he was even in a band. At the end of the song, Yuki mumbled something that Mafuyu couldn't hear. Mafuyu then felt the car go a sharp left turn since he felt the car moving and his body was pushed to the door. Hitting his side kinda hard.

"Sorry Mafuyu, I should've warned you about that turn," Yuki said apologetically.

"It's fine, Yuki," Mafuyu replied.

"Oh yeah, we are almost arriving, just know to breathe upon seeing my masterpiece," Yuki chuckled and said with pride.

The car came into a halt.
