*FInally somebody who isn't Bakugou! Hehe. Anyways. This will be a little angsty. I want to try and broaden my writing skills so I'm trying out something new I hope you enjoy! Also the reader will actually be an OC this time just because I realized I wanted to try something new*

For just a moment I thought he could see me. He just stood and stared straight at where I stood but then he walked through me and sat near the bed. He laid his hand on my body and began to speak. "I'm so sorry Flor. I wish I would have been there. If I had been a little faster that cyclops wouldn't have hit you. If I had been only a little faster you wouldn't be here in this bed. I'm so sorry." He begins to cry while holding my hand. I could only watch from afar as the man I love broke down over my unconscious body.

I walk closer and place my shimmery hand against his cheek in hopes he would know I am here for him. My hand goes straight through him. I begin to panic, not knowing if I am dead or alive. I look at him as he begins to speak again. "I, Perseus Jackson son of Poseidon, swear on the river styx to do whatever I can to save you. Even if I die trying." He lets go of my hand and leaves. I try to leave but am unable to leave the room.

Suddenly the door opens again and in walks a familiar face. Nico di Angelo, the son of Hades. "So you are here, Florentine." I forgot he could see spirits! I try to speak but it seems my vocal cords don't work. "You won't be able to speak Flor. You aren't a dead spirit. You are only a projection of your spirit. You're in a coma. You have been for a month. Percy has been so distraught. We all have. We're working on figuring out how to fix this." Nico sighs.

I frown and walk towards my body. My cheeks look sunken and my skin is extremely pale. I look dead. But, if I look close enough I can see I'm breathing lightly. I sigh, relieved that I am indeed not dead. I look behind me and realize Nico is gone. I am now alone.

It's been a few weeks and Percy has been to visit every day. He talks to me even though he thinks I can't hear him. I don't think Nico told him I was here. Today he was late though. He normally comes by every day at lunch but today he didn't show up until almost curfew. When he walked in I could tell he was extremely happy. He sat next to me like normal and began to speak. "We did it! We found a way to get you to wake up!"

His face looked so relieved as he said these words. "Clovis finally figured out why he couldn't get to you in your dreams. There was some sort of venom on the club of cyclops that attacked you. It caused some sort of blockage. But Clovis has figured out how to break through it! He's going to get you up. I promise!" He kisses my hand and leaves. A few hours later I find myself in a completely different place.

I look around and find myself in some sort of room made of clouds. "Flor! I did it. Gods I've finally got you!" I turn and see Clovis and his pillow. I begin to cry. "I've been so scared. Thank the gods you figured this out." I hug him and everything slowly begins to fade out. I open my eyes and find myself surrounded by my friends and siblings. The first person I focus on though is Percy. His face looks so tired but relieved.

"Are you gonna stand there the whole time or hug me fish boy?" I raise a brow at him. He launches himself at me and kisses me. "Gods I've missed you." I smirk. "Is that why you came by everyday?" He looks alarmed. "How did you know that." I laugh. "I was a 'spirit' the whole time and could see and hear everything Percy."

He looks at Nico. "Did you know about this?!" Nico nods and Percy hides his face in my hair. I giggle and hug him as everybody smiles around us and begins to catch me up on what I missed while "Asleep". I never thought I would say this but I am so happy to be awake.
