Chapter 16: Supernatural Elemental

(A/N: By the way readers, I will be adding a few twists in the next chapters. In this chapter, this is when sci-fi and mystics come together. So, enjoy)

Few days later...

Reiji, Marin, and Sarah are taking a break from terrorist raiding and equipment inventing. They have mostly and successfully taken down all of the terrorist groups that are known for their exploits.

While they were on their break:

Reiji is meditating in the dojo, in order to heighten his senses; he wanted to see if he can train and meditate much more, in order to achieve what he fights for;

Marin is heavenly enjoying in the hot bath that Reiji made and modified, the hot water was the right temperature for her, it even made her skin completely smooth and luxurious;

and Sarah is outside training her fencing practice, seeing if she can focus, not just one opponent, but many opponents at once, 'cause she knows that she and her team are battling terrorists, who are trying to take over the world.

Marin POV

After I was done using the hot bath, I dried myself up and went to see on what Reiji is really doing. I found Reiji and Sarah, inside our dojo, meditating on their senses.

I even found meditating quite useful, in order for me to fully be aware on what is going on, of my surroundings. Reiji really trusts me and Sarah a lot, from what I can tell from Reiji.

But there are some things, that Reiji doesn't fully know about me, and I think this is the time that I should tell him on my part. So I went to join Reiji and Sarah on meditation.

Reiji POV

When Sarah and I were meditating, Marin joined in. Half an hour later, I felt a little unease about Marin. It felt like she has something going on in her head, and that got me worried.

3rd Person POV

Reiji: You feel a little troubled, Marin. What's wrong?

Marin: There is more to me than meets the eye, Reiji.

Sarah: Like what?

Reiji: Tell me what.

Marin explained everything from her life experience before being a I.S. pilot.

She told them that she was a mage, a former S-Class mage. Who also knows and has a connection about the world's very supernaturals around them. Before she began to work and study on technology, like a normal human being would do.

Reiji: So, you were a mage, before you became a scientist?

Marin nodded for a 'yes'.

Reiji came to her and unexpected to Marin, he hugged her, she was surprised for that kind of reaction.

Reiji: I don't care what you were before or right now. You are, who you are. Either a mage or a scientist. Your path is yours to take.

After hearing that, Marin cried with joy, for Reiji has accepted her, for who she is, a mage or a scientist, then she hugged him back.

Marin: 'crying with joy' Thank you, Reiji.

They hugged for awhile, while Sarah watched, feeling a little jealous.

Sarah in mind: Oh my. I also want a hug from Reiji. Guess I have to let this moment slide for now.

Then Reiji broke the hug and asked.

Reiji: So, what do we say we combine the mystics and technology, to become a reality?

Marin was first to be surprised by the proposal, at first she was hesitant, but with Reiji around, they can accomplish it, making the impossible, possible.

Marin: Well then, let's let it happen, for real this time.

Then Marin taught Reiji and Sarah, the ways of the supernatural world.

Marin: There are like six magic elements in the world.

Fire
Water
Light
Wind
Earth
Dark

Marin: And from these six elements are their sub-magic elements.

Fire -> Flame, Flare, Gas
Water -> Aqua, Hydro, Glacier, Iceberg
Light -> Lightning, Spark, Holy, Creation
Wind ->Hurricane, Tornado
Earth -> Ground, Steel
Dark -> Doom, Black, Fallen, Destruction

Marin: If one person was able to conjure more than just one element, they used them to do a multi-element / element combination attack.

Fire and Light - Hot Laser, Holy Fire
Fire and Wind - Forest Fire
Fire and Earth - Eruption
and many more...

Marin: There is even another magic element, that is mostly rare, among mages, Null Magic. This kind of magic depends on how the person uses it. I've seen Null Magic on rare occasions. But I know that there is more to Null Magic than just a few of it being used.

Marin: Most of the time, some people can have one element. But there are some who conjure more than just one element. Then the rarest of them all, ones who can control them all.

Marin: My elements are Fire: Flame, Flare, Gas; Wind: Hurricane, Tornado; Light: Lightning, Spark, Holy, Creation; and Null Magic. Yeah, I'm one of the rarest of those who used Null Magic. Try to tap in your element(s) and see what kind it is.

So Reiji and Sarah concentrated on their meditation, to see what kind of elements, do they possess.

Then, two magic circles came underneath them.

Marin: Looks like you're in the first step to tap in your element. Now, concentrate your top elements.

Then Reiji and Sarah focused on their energy, to see what kind of element(s) do they possess.

Then, four elements with their sub-magic elements, came out from Sarah's magic circle: Earth: Ground, Steel; Water: Aqua, Hydro, Glacier, Iceberg; Dark: Doom, Black, Fallen, Destruction; and Null Magic.

Sarah: Seems to me that I am the polar opposite of you, Marin.

Marin: Earth, Water, Dark, and Null Magic. I have to agree with you there, Sarah. I'm impressed.

Then Marin and Sarah looked at Reiji's magic circle.

And to their surprise, Reiji's magic circle has all of the known magic elements.

Marin: Reiji. Open your eyes and see this.

Reiji opened his eyes and shocked to see that all of the magic elements, are present in his own magic circle.

Marin: I guess you are one of the rarest people who controls all, Reiji.

Reiji: I guess. Maybe.

Then Reiji had an idea, coming into his head.

Reiji: What if I embedded my magic elements into your partnered projects. That way, the users can tell what kind of magic elements, do they have.

Sarah and Marin seemed to get where Reiji is going at.

Then Sarah and Marin brought out the crates that had all of the Self-Custom I.S. in their standby form.

When they opened it up, Reiji started to get to work.

He focus on concentrating all of his magic energy into his magic elements, then transferred and embedded all of them to all of the Self Custom I.S. , more of all seven elements in one I.S. .

After the ritual was done, he had finally did his part of making a better place for people to stand up.

In the Supernatural World...

In the Underworld...

All of the Devil Kings sensed a very strong aura that somehow crossed through the Underworld.

In Heaven...

Archangel Michael felt the strong aura as well, feeling a shine of hope in his eyes.

On Earth...

Azazel felt the strong aura as well, then he became interested on who can possess that much magic energy.
