"When a weak person is given power, they are then subjected to that power."

Nanno watches Yuri and Junko walk away from each other smirking to themselves, and she grins herself. She sits there, planning on watching them on their journey. She'll make sure Yuri's plans won't come to fruition. But first, she has something she has to do.

Knock, knock

Nannai stands up. There it is again, the monthly pack. He opens the door and no one is there. Just a bag of baby supplies-- always at this time of month and always at this hour of the day.

Who is it? He'd like to ask, but he knows who exactly it was.

"Nanno..." he whispers ever so gently. He hugs the pack, thanking it under his breath. If she was going to keep helping her take care of the baby, why did she have to leave me?

Nanai is very certain on who gave the monthly pack to him, and that's because there's always the same signature written on a note. The same signature and the same phrase.

"The baby did nothing wrong. -N"

He looks around once more, hoping to get a glimpse from her one more time.

None. Not even a strand of hair.

He closes the door behind her, and just as he does, Nanno shows herself. She watches the closed door and sees from the frosted glass window. Nanai and the child.

The child isn't hers. It doesn't have her blood so she isn't very scared of any consequences.

Consequenes like Junko and Yuri.

But still, the child did nothing wrong. Nanai works and she gives her monthly help.

Creak

The door opens again and Nanno hides herself. Nanai gets ready to get out as he goes to work. He leaves the gate and Nanno enters the house like she usually does in her monthly visits.

"Hello little Nanai."

She crouches down and plays with the kid. She was always very careful to make sure not to leave any trace of herself. She wonders if the kid would somehow remember her, but she remembers that thought is futile.

"It's only 8 months old... it wouldn't remember me." She mumbles under her breath. The kid happily cheers playing with Nanno and she wishes he wouldn't turn out like Yuri. She touches her cheek just to make sure again. "Good."

It doesn't have my blood.

The door opens and a bag is heard thumping to the ground. A loud gasp echoed throughout the room as Nanai sees Nanno.

"... you're back?" A teary Nanai asks. Nanno smiles as she watches him trying to compose himself.

"Hello Nanai."
