Deku is out with his classmates while shopping for stuff for the camp and both Toga and uraraka leave him alone after giving him a kiss on the cheek

Deku💭:ok what first?

Deku's vision starts to deteriorate until he sees only blurs so he activities his byakugan to see properly

Deku💭:dammit. My eyes are gonna be sealed soon if I keep using my mangekeyou. Guess I'll start using my byakugan.

Deku walks around getting things he'll need when he sees mineta picking out bug spray and then he realizes he can see everyone in the entire mall

Deku💭:guess my byakugan got better through the years even without me knowing. The Hyuga bloodline is really something isn't it.

Deku then continues with shopping and helps a few of his classmates with their shopping eventually getting to mina

Deku:hey ashido need help?

Mina:actually yeah I do.

Deku:ok what you need help with.

Mina:well where were going is pretty cold since its in a mountain range so I'll probably need something to keep warm during the night. So do you mind if I ask for your input?

Deku:I'll be happy to help ashido.

After a few minutes mina finally notices that deku has his byakugan active

Mina:hey what's with your eyes?

Deku tells her that he's going blind from mangekeyou overuse

Mina:how many time fo you think you can use it again until you're fully blind?

Deku:I'd say about 10 in total.

Mina💭:forgot he's dating both.

Deku leaves to go after someone he saw being sketchy as all hell

He follows a man who has ill intentions and deku can see its towards another man who is with a family

Deku uses the invisibility jutsu to get closer to the man and when the man attacks the son of the family to take him hostage deku reappears and hits the hostage takers Chakra points and pins him to the ground

Deku:I'd call the cops and quickly.

After that fiasco

Deku continues to shop until he's approached by a skinny man with a hoodie

?:hey you're izuku midoriya from the sports festival.

Deku:oh hey need anything?

?:just a bit if your time.

Suddenly the man puts all but his pinkie finger on deku's neck

?:move an inch and you'll be reuniting with your mother.

Deku looks the man in the eyes and recognizes him

Deku:you.

Shigaraki smiles creepily and instructs deku to sit down and not try anything

Shigaraki:I just wanted to ask you a few things. Tell me. How can people walk around with smiles on their faces when there's people like me out there?

Deku:because they believe in one thing you fucktards forget. Hope.

Shigaraki:well then. What causes this hope to bloom into trust?

Deku:forging your path and when everyone sees this. It makes them feel safe.

Shigaraki laughs

Deku:oi quite laughing you crusty son of a bitch.

Shigaraki:one last question. How do heroes deal with the darkness that comes with their job?

Deku:soon they won't need to. I will place all their darkness onto myself.

Shigaraki:what about personal darkness? You can't take that into your person.

Deku:not what I was talking about. Now get the hell out of here before I set you on fire.

Shigaraki leaves and deku keeps his eyes on him
