(I just released how many writing mistakes this has while re reading again I apologize this was written awhile ago too)
Leo slipped into the corner cafe on 5th Avenue, for a long awaited break. The lights fairly dim, the place was practically a ghost town. The brown brick walls contrasted amazingly with the marble lined white floors complemented by the thick atmosphere.
"Today is different," thought Leo "Something feels.-" his thoughts were broken by the voice of a female, a familiar female.
"Hello sir, what may I get you? Today's special is Pumpkin pie!"
He whipped his head up and was met with the girls big blue eyes. Her appearance was similar yet different, long wavy blonde hair reaching her hips, freckled face, and she was dressed in a pioneer dress.
"*sigh* do I know her from somewhere," Leo thought hard until "Could it be-"
"STARGIRl?"
Leo immediately covered his mouth, flustered. What he'd
done in the past was wrong he wasn't sure if he could fix it
but the girl he dreamed of was right in front of him, maybe he
had chance.
"Ah, hello Leo! How have you been?"
"Stargirl, I can't believe it, your a long way from Minnesota", Leo responded. "Yeah, I have traveled to many different places since then and now I'm trying the big city", Stargirl said.
"What can I get for you?", asked Stargirl. Leo thought for a minute as his mind was filled with so many thoughts and memories he couldn't even focus on the simple question. "Ah, I'll have a double vanilla latte, with two shots of espresso, skim milk, and a little ice. Then to eat I will have a piece of the pumpkin pie and two macaroons." Leo didn't even know what he ordered.
"I'll be right back!"
Leo looked around the dim cafe for a place to sit. He saw a table in the corner with a sunflower in a vase and thought that was perfect, he slowly headed towards the table and sat himself as he awaited his order.
Shortly thereafter, Stargirl appeared with his drink and food. "Here you go Leo, enjoy!" Stargirl said as she passed him his check, "You can pay that at the register, and here's a little treat for you." Leo looked down and saw a red lollipop he smiled of course, Stargirl always adds something special.
As Leo went to the register to pay, he saw Stargirl putting on her coat and heading towards him.
"Leo, can you come with me, I want to show you something." Leo was more than a little excited to spend time with her
"of course, where are we going."
"Just come with me, Stargirl said.
As they left the cafe, Stargirl clasped Leo hand and lead him to an expansive area, it was beautiful. Stargirl spread out a blanket and asked
"would you like to join me?"
"Absolutely,"
And just like that, they were lying down admiring the beautiful stars.
"Je t'aime Stargirl," Leo mumbled.
