Its a wild and tiring world I live.
Day in, day out; I am in no will
to go on living the way I am.
I am tired and wept
But in your love I'm swept.
I choose to deny that I can't love you,
Its safer and at least I can love.
In that little world I created
I pretend I do not get hurt with your poor excuse of love.
I sit by, afar and near
With my eyes readily streaming in tears,
I look to observe at the way you mock
and downgrade but appreciate my heartfelt love.
I want to stop but I can't
I'm a soul lost when it comes to you.
What angers me most is that I can't tell you,
I can't reveal my discontent
and I can't show my heart's content.
If only I was confident enough
then maybe I would not face this now.
I'm down and sad because I choose to be quiet;
I'd rather love you in silence
Than loose you of insolence.
So no matter the wrongs you do to me and my love,
I'd keep on loving you the way you are.
