Madison's POV~
"Like an unsharpened pencil, life without you is pointless!"
"Hmm," I said ignoring his bickering.
"You're so sweet, you're giving me a toothache."
"Use pepsodent, maybe it will help!"
"I'm horribly lost. Can you give me the directions to your heart?."
"Geez, what's gotten into you today!?"
Kyle and I were currently in line to take our lunch but Kyle being the dork was blabbering out shitty pickup lines.
I was about to pick up the spoon to serve myself when he suddenly took my hand and placed it on his chest.
"Feel my shirt. Know what it's made of? Boyfriend material."
I was about to shut him up but a smooth and bold voice did the work for me.
"Can't you two flirt later, I need my food" Mr. Stranger said emphasizing the word food.
Kyle checked him out from head to toe, winked at me and-
"You're so beautiful that you made me forget my pickup line."
I looked at Kyle with bewilderment but couldn't help the laugh that escaped my mouth.
Mr stranger narrowed his eyes at me as a warning to shut up and then moved his eyesight towards the idiot beside me. He gave Kyle a menacing glare.
"Did you just call me beautiful?" He asked slowly in a calm voice.
Is this the calm before the storm...? Hmm, maybe it is.
"I think I just did" Kyle replied casually without being the slighted affected by the glare directed towards him.
"You-"
"What in the world is taking you two so long! I was sitting on the table waiting for you both like a fool and you dimwits are talking with Mr. Hottie here." Soph said while approaching me.
"Well, my dear Soph please take care of your beautiful friend here while we take our food," Kyle said mocking the guy behind him.
"Beautiful friend who? Madds?"
Before anyone could answer Mr.Finn interrupted our bickering.
"Students please take your food and go to your tables this instinct"
Not having any other option we listened to our principal and left towards our table.
"Madison"
I turned around to see Mr. Finn called me. Biting my inner cheek I cautiously made my way towards him.
"Yes sir?"
"I want to meet you in my office as soon as the lunch ends"
"But why sir?"
"Please don't be late Miss Reed"
Having said that he left me standing there shocked and confused.

Here I was standing behind the door of our principal's office. I took a deep breath and prepared myself to meet Mr. Finn.
I was nervous! I didn't do anything, still, I was nervous.
Throwing my nervousness into the bin, I knocked on the door.
I heard a subtle 'come in' after which I made my way inside. I poked my head inside first to catch the sight. Sensing my inconvenience, Mr. Finn nodded his head towards me as if wanting me to get my other half of the body inside.
I closed the door behind me and stood straight. That is when I realized that I wasn't alone in the office, Mr. Stranger was also there!
He was sitting on the chair playing with a pencil and had a bored look on his face. It was like somebody had forced him to shut up and sit here.
"Miss Reed if you are done staring please do sit down in the empty seat."
Why did he mention the empty seat? It's not like I was going to sit on my so-called roommate's lap!
Anyways, I seated myself on the empty seat beside Mr, Stranger.
"Now Miss Reed, remember when I told you that I wanted you to show my nephew around the school and help him adjust?"
"Yes..." I said slowly, not understanding where this conversation just headed.
"Well here we are, now I officially want you to meet my nephew here-" He said directing his words towards Mr. Stranger.
Wait! He is Mr. Finn's nephew??

Ahhh finally I discovered his name!
