"Jay, why isn't she dead? You were set to kill this girl 4 weeks ago!" My dad screams through the phone.

"Dad I can't" I reply before turning around to ensure I am indeed alone.

"What do you mean you can't, Jay? You are the best assassin in the mafia business and you can't even kill a little girl." He questions.

I feel myself get angry at the way he is speaking of my girl Zaylee so I take a minute to collect myself before trying to decide what's the smartest thing to say next " I'm in love with her, dad" I say.

There's a pause on the other end before he erupts into laughter. "This must be a joke! What do you know about love. Stop being so dramatic. I. Want. Her. Dead. Now do your job! My dad answer.

He hangs up the phone before I could say anything . I sign placing the phone on the railing of the balcony before placing my hands in my hair.

I stand there in the cold before hearing little footsteps approaching me. Zaylee soon wraps her small arms around me before placing a gentle kiss on my shoulder.

"Everything alright" her voice calms me down. "Works just stressing me out a little. You go to bed baby I'll be right there." I say turning around so I can see her pretty face.

I wrap my arms around her before placing a gentle kiss on her forehead.

"Okay I love you " she says before going on her tip toes to try and reach my lips.

I smile at her small height and reach down the rest of the way to kiss her soft lips.

She walks away back inside leaving me alone with my thoughts. "I'll kill her tomorrow " I promise myself. Then again, that's what I said yesterday.

I go to bed and cuddle with her. "I love her so much, no one will ever understand." I thought. We fell asleep while we cuddled.
