Part 17:- (Crazy Manik)

Manik went to the tree house where he used to play with Nandini in childhood. That place was always special for them but after Nandini left Manik this is the only place that witnessed Manik's pain and tears.

Manik:- (shouted loudly) Nandiniiiiiii…..

Manik's voice resonated but there was no response.

Manik:- (like a kid) I know Nandini you are here only. You are playing hind and seek with me right? Just like we used to play in our childhood. It's enough Nandini, see I am not able to find you. Okey I lost and you won. Now please come back to me, please.

Again there was pin drop silence. That's it Manik fall on his knees and started crying.

Manik:- (crying badly) You know na Nandu I can't live without you? Then why are you doing this to me. If you are angry with me then come fight with me but please come back to me.

When Manik was crying, he heard a voice.

Voice:- She won't come back Manik.

Manik turned back and saw Cabir was standing at some distance with Dhruv and Abhi. He stood up and said,

Manik:- (coldly) No Cabir, she will come back. I know she will come back. I will wait for her.

Dhruv:- Buddy please except the reality. She won't come.

Cabir:- yes Manik, please try to understand.

Manik:-(shouted) No. She will come. She have come.

Manik was continuously repeating those sentence when he felt dizzy. He fainted and about to fall but Cabir and Dhruv rushed to him and held him.

At Morning

Manik was sleeping on his bed. But suddenly he woke up screaming loudly.

Manik:- Nandini!!!

Six people immediately came running in the room.

Cabir:- Manik, Manik please relax.

But Manik was not in any stage to hear anything. He was continuously moving his head from left to right and was babbling something.

Manik:- No, Nandini can't leave me. She she have to come back. She have to….

Cabir shakes Manik to bring him to the reality.

Cabir:- Stop it Manik. Nandini won't come back. She had left you forever.

Manik:- (shouted loudly) No, you are lying. My Nandini can't leave me. She have to come back for me. She have to….

Manik went out of control. He stood up from the bed and started to breaking all the things in the room. All tried to stop him, but he was out of their reach.

Manik:- you all are lying. My Nandini will surely come back for her Monster. She have to come back….

Mukti:- Manik please try to understand. If she wanted to come back then she would have come back till now.

Abhi:- Yes Manik. Mukti is right.

Manik:- (shouted) I don't believe you. She will come back. I know she will come back.

Dhruv:- Yes Buddy you are right. She will come back. Now please relax.

Manik:- Are you sure? She will come back right?

Dhruv:- Yes Buddy. Trust me, we all will find her and will bring her to you.

Dhruv made him lay down on his bed.

Manik:- then what are you waiting for? Go and bring her to me.

Dhruv:- I will. But before that promise me that you will sleep like a good boy and I promise you when you will wake up Nandini will be here, in front of your eyes.

Then Dhruv signaled cabir to call nurse. Nurse came there and gave him sleeping injection.

Manik:- (murmur) My Nandini will come back to me, my Nandu….

Then Manik fall asleep. All came out of the room and sat in the living room.

Dhruv:- (angrily) what the hell guys? You all know about Manik's condition right? Then why are behaving like that?

Mukti:- so what should we do? As usual give him fake hope that Nandini will come back? It's been three months Nandini left us. We tried our best to find her but seems like she just vanished all of a sudden.

Dhruv:-but Mukti try to understand his point of view. He madly loves Nandini. He just can't live without her.

Cabir:- we are trying our best right? Police, CID, Private Agents we did everything but all went in vain. We can't lie to Manik anymore. He has to except that Nandini won't come back.

Navya:- Cabir please relax. I am feeling sad for Manik too but we have to give him fake hope, otherwise he will kill himself. Just have faith in God.

Suddenly heard a voice behind.

Voice:- Exactly Navya. God never disappointed anyone.

Cabir:- ACP Maddhyam you here?

Maddhyam:- There is a good news for you all.

Dhruv:- What?

Maddhyam:- We have found Nandini….
