Chapter 9: The Agreement/The Broken Promise

Wanda's Pov
I took a deep breath and gently placed Y/n on the floor. "I want you out of the compound, I need to think about letting you stay." I was trying my hardest to not cry but my efforts failed me.

Y/n Pov
I nodded, gently cupped Wanda's face and kissed her forehead. "See you later Master." I walked away with tears in my eyes and muttered under my breath "I'm coming Agatha"

Young Wanda's Pov
I was sitting in a cell trying to control my powers, next to me was my brother running around crashing to walls. "Pietro calm down and sit still please." I was waiting for an answer until a soldier came in with a whimpering girl. Her eyes were flickering like mine but purple. I stared at her, she is younger than me and they still experimented on her!? He opened my cell and gently placed her down. "Watch it Wanda she is much weaker than you!!" The soldier shouted at me. I nodded and waited for the soldier to leave. After the soldier I softly said "Hey I'm Wanda Maximoff and the other person in the different cell is Pietro Maximoff my brother."

Young Y/n Pov
"Y-y/n" I looked down in shame because I couldn't either form a sentence. I moved towards Wanda and gently placed my head on her lap. I smiled as I started to fall asleep.

Young Wanda's Pov
I whispered in Y/n's ear "I promise to protect you no matter what happens." I saw Pietro nod his head in agreement as I was lying down with Y/n's head on my chest to make sure she was safe.

Wanda's Pov
Why did I have to remember that now!? I began to walk towards my room thinking about how much of an idiot I was. I broke our promise that I made. I was about to go into my room until....
