Yeonjun's POV.
One month, its been a month since I've been here. Can't believe things have gone by so fast. I was sitting in my room on my phone, I had gotten a text from Taehyun saying that Soobin wanted to meet with me.I sighed hoping off my bed. I walked to the door and opened it. I headed downstairs stairs and towards his office.
I knocked on the door, "Come in," He yelled. I opened the door and walked in, he was sitting behind his desk on his computer. I sat down in front of him waiting for him to finish with whatever it was he was doing.
"Alright! I've talked with Beomgyu and from what he's told me you've been doing pretty well." He said moving away from his computer.
I nodded tensing up a little, "A fast learner," he added.
I chuckled, "I'm still struggling in some areas... it's scary,"
Why would I say that, makes me sound like a wimp.
"Thats fine," He shrugged, "you're not used to being in a violent environment. Not to mention being part of it now," He inquired.
I sighed, it's terrifying. I've never held a gun before and a couple weeks ago I was shooting at targets while imagining they were real people. I'm not built for this life. But I'd rather live then die.
"Have you been having nightmares?" He asked.
My eyes widened, "h-how did you-" He cut me off.
"Me too," He said. "I was born into this life, my mom didn't want me to be apart of it all, but ended up being apart of it herself. When I was 15 my dad forced me to shoot him." He chuckled.
Was the boss of one of the scariest mafias really opening up to me right now!?
"Before then I had never known what a mafia even was, I've never held a gun. For all I knew my mom was a kindergarten teacher and my dad a business man. Instead, I was introduced to this place, my dad said he couldn't take it anymore. He knew he would do something stupid. This life drew him into madness, he would've sent all his men after our rival mafia to fight which would've been very dumb." He paused looking at his lap and taking a deep breath.
"So, his solution. Was to give me, his only son a gun so I could shoot him. I refused obviously, but then he said if I didn't kill him he'd kill me. And when I tell you I told him to do it I mean it. I loved my dad with all my heart, he was always supportive of me. He was the best dad ever, he'd help me with school. Enrolled me into a very elite school and even offered to pay for my college all from his bank account when I was old enough. I would've killed myself for him. But then he refused, he couldn't kill me just like how I couldn't kill him." He stood, and walked over to a cupboard nearby.
"This is the last photo I took with him before he died," he said showing me the photo of him and his dad.
"I ended up killing him, I didn't want to but then my mom came. He hit her, I've never seen him hit her. I guess I got mad, I shot him but then. I cried, I ran over to his dying body and apologized. Over and over. Ever since that day I had nightmares for at least 2 years. It was the same scenario repeated over and over. I was a monster." He walked back to his desk and sat down.
"What made it worse is my mom didn't care, she was glad he died. That was also the same day I found out my parents never truly loved each other, but in my dreams... or nightmares I suppose. She would call me a monster and locked me in my room, I told her about the nightmares. My mom would sleep with me whenever she could and it helped but the nightmares never truly went away they just got slightly better every time." He looked me in the eyes.
"If you'd like I can sleep with you for comfort?" He offered.
"I wouldn't want to make you uncomfortable!" I said, "and... I'm sorry that happened to you,"
"It's ok, it's long past me now. Sometimes I get upset thinking about it but it's ok. It's been years the past is the past." He reassured, "And really I should be asking, You!" He pointed at me. "If you're comfortable with me sleeping with you."
Third person
It was the next day and Yeonjun had woken up. He was in Soobin room, sleeping on Soobin's bed, next to Soobin,"Soobin wake up" he mumbled, slightly shaking his boss to wake him up.
Soobin groaned, but slowly opened his eyes and let out a yawn. "Good morning Junnie," He said, turning to his side to face the male that worked under him.
"It got better, you were right." Yeonjun told.
Soobin smiled, "I'm glad." He wrapped his arm around the older one and pulled him closer, "we can do this again if you'd like." He whispered.
"I'd like that," Yeonjun replied, embracing the warmth he received from Soobin while burying his head into the younger's chest.
"Just to clarify, this is to comfort you. We're not a thing," Bin explained
Yeonjun bit his lower lip, feeling slight disappointment but unsure why.
"That is unless... you want to be a thing," Soobin suggested.
Yeonjun's eyebrows raised and a faint blush was left on his face. The feeling quickly left as he smirked and pulled away from Soobin embrace. He poked the blonde boy's nose, "I'll think about it," He teased.
