Franco, a grade 4 student back there, was a bubbly kid. He was a positive & loving kid with friends who are all of different levels in his school. He rides the schoolbus from his house to his school, his school to his house. That was completely all his life, going to school & going home. All that changed when one boring & weird day came.
He was supposed to be in the second batch of his schoolbus but the coach captain (bus driver) decided to ride the first & second batches of students together. When all the first batch students got home, the second batch students were chatting, playing, & having fun on the way home. Franco being still a kid was not shy with strangers. He met a new face on the schoolbus, a grade 6 student named Jean. Jean was not the most beautiful girl but her brilliance, humor, & laugh (especially when Jean bumped her head in the window of the schoolbbus when they're all playing) caught Franco bewilthered because, since he hasn't experienced falling in love yet, he doesn't know that he is inlove.
Franco only knew the feeling of having crushes because kids have crushes. So as a child, he had thought of a way to let Jean know that he has a secret crush on her. What Franco did was he wrote Jean a letter telling her of what he truly feels and he requested the coach captain to give the letter to Jean since Franco & Jean had different schedules.
After that thing, Jean became cold to Franco. Franco didn't mind at first. The days passed; the jokes, laughs, & conversations of Franco & Jean utterly dissolved in the ashes of misunderstanding & cowardice. Franco could not do anything now but stare, glance, & daze at Jean everytime the schoolbus pick ups Jean in her house every morning.
Farewell Balls happen annually at their school before it loads off to welcome the summer season. No one knew besides Franco himself that he had fell inlove with this grade 6 girl who's about to graduate & welcome a new chapter in her life called "high school".
Franco had the strength, finally, to tell everyone that he is in love with Jean. He went up the stage. Before the mic, he stood & and uterred the hardest three words he'll say in his life. He finally spoke, "I..Love..J.." suddenly...
