Blade One: Alice Klinge

The two blades shot down towards the titan's vulnerable eye before throwing its head back covering its eyes and letting out a painful roar.

"Whoa, there big guy, despite your size you seem to be such a crybaby," Alice noted as she landed on top of its head." Why don't we take this like a champ shall we?" Alice jumped up to gather momentum before going down in twirl and slicing out a chunk of the titan's nape.

 Using her ODM maneuver gear she climbed on top of a nearby building as the titan crashed down. Alice's eyes glanced at the battlefield. They'd just returned from an expedition in Wall Maria before rushing back hearing that Wall Rose may have been breached. Now with the battle over, littered on the grounds were bodies of both titans and soldiers that have fallen, her soldiers, comrades she ate with, fought with and, trained with.

"Captain Alice," Petra said as she appeared before her.

Alice looked up at Petra helplessly." So many casualties," She whispered, her voice almost breaking.

Petra looked at the blood-covered captain, who in battle would've looked intimidating but right now Alice had looked like a helpless cat drenched in rain. Petra extended out her arm and pulled Alice into a hug, the warmth of Petra's arm comforted her a bit.

"Commander Erwin is looking for you," Petra said as Alice pulled away from the hug.

"When will we be free from all of these?" Alice asked staring up at the crimson skies, watching as the birds flew past the towers before landing on a rooftop.

But Petra was already gone, leaving Alice as she stood in the middle of the alleyway.

"Let's go see what Commander Erwin wants," Alice muttered as she made her way across the building with her 3d maneuver gear, swinging from building to building.

"Took you long enough Klinge," A cold voice said as she landed beside Erwin."I almost thought you ended up as titan's chow."

"Ackerman, I don't want to argue with you today," Alice said glaring at him." Please don't cause me any trouble." 

Levi's scowl softens slightly before returning to his permanent frown. Levi was stubborn but he knew when to shut up and when to cause trouble which made him more tolerable to Alice. 

"Alice, I think the other soldiers have filled you in enough right?" Erwin said as he continued looking through the reports. 

"Yes sir, apparently one of the trainees, Eren Yeager, can transform into a titan?" 

"Yes, he's currently being confined until further notice, the Military Police wants to get rid of him." 

"No," Alice blurted. 

Levi glanced at her, suddenly interested in her small outburst. 

"Pardon?" 

"I won't let them get their filthy hands on him," Alice hissed." They have never faced a goddamn titan in their life, how dare they make decisions?" 

"Alice, don't overstep your boundaries," Erwin warned." I'll resolve this matter later, go back and rest, both of you. Your cadets are tired." 

"I'm sorry, but commander, but if push comes to shove, I don't know what I'll do," Alice said turning around and leaving. 

"Captain Klinge," Peter saluted as he spotted Alice coming in the mess hall." The wounded soldiers are being treated as we speak and the rest are eating or sleeping." 

"Thanks, Peter," Alice yawned." You should go get some rest too, thanks for your hard work."

Peter gave her a small smile," You too Captain, please rest well."
