Hidden in these lies

Part 2

The next day Robert went to school, anxious about if he was accepted to the group or not. During the first lesson, math, Robert sat near Hendrik, to impress him, he made a homophobic joke, telling all gays to go to Sweden. Hendrik chuckled and felt the same feeling in his stomach that he felt when Robert asked him if he could join their group. The next lesson was geography and the teacher announced that they were going to do a presentation in pairs which she had already arranged. The teacher started annocing the pairs for the protject and Hendrik was secretly wishing that he would be paired up with Robert. "Okay the next pair is Hendrik," Hendrik's heart started beating faster when the teacher said his name and he felt like time was going slower. The teacher cointinued, "and Robert."  Hendrik felt that wierd feeling in his stomach again, he felt happy.

*Hendrik's pov*

I don't know what's wrong with me, I haven't felt like this before, am I sick? I just want to be friends with him, but it seems like he has put a spell on me. I should really go to the doctor's office...

*Hendrik's pov over*

At lunch breake Robert went to Hendrik to ask him about the geography presentation. "Hey, Hendrik! When should we do the presentation?" "Well, today if you have time" "Yes that would be great! We can go to my place after school," that made Hendrik excited. "Oh, Robert, I forgot to tell you something," Robert looked at him with excitement, could this be the news that he was waiting for? "Robert, congratioulations, we have decided to accept you to EKRE young representatives," Hendrik announced. Roberts face lit up with pure happiness, he hugged Hendrik and thanked him. Robert, feeling a little embarassed, backed away and went to talk with his other friend, Rasmus, leaving Hendrik there, with a flusterd face. He felt his heart beating faster again.

It was the final lesson of the day, both Robert and Hendrik felt excited to go to Robert's place after school. Robert kept stairing at Hendrik during the lesson, he kept thinking about the hug, that was so sudden, he didn't understand what got into him. Hendrik was thinking the same, why did he hug me so suddenly? why am I feeling this way? he tought that he definetly needs to go and see the doctor. 

After the lesson, they met up in front of the school and started walking to the bus stop. Hendrik looked at Robert and asked "How long do we need to ride the bus?" Robert answerd him, "about 20 minutes, Hen" Hendrik said, "okay Robi." Robert's face looked like a tomato after he heard his new nickname. Hendrik asked, "you like that name?" Robert felt even his ears turn red as he answerd with a shy chuckel, "hehe yes!" Hendrik felt more confident after makeing Robert feel so shy. 

After they got off the bus it suddenly started raining. Hendrik took his coat and put it over their heads. "Let's run," said Robert. The boys started running to Robert house. They finally made it to his house and Robert closed the front door.
