Harry POV:
"I love you, Harry."
"YOU WHAT?" I yelp, and I see Draco blush.
"I'm sorry, Harry. For everything I've done to you. And...I would love it if you told me your opinion. On, well, you know," Draco mumbles quickly, as if he wanted to get everything out as fast he could. I don't say anything awhile, I just stare, thinking of our past. Never, in a million years, would I ever have thought of having Draco as my boyfriend. In fact, if you showed this day to me a few years ago, I would've laughed and pushed the day away. Nevertheless, I still try to get something, anything out of my mouth.
"Why were you being so mean to me, then?" I say.
Draco thinks a moment, before turning redder. "I guess I was just jealous? Or maybe I was trying to hide the fact that I liked you...."
I think for a moment. On one hand, dating the same person that tormented me my whole life is kinda weird, but on the other hand....yes, I do think I love him too. I take a deep breath, before looking at Draco. His slightly askew look and his bright eyes makes my heart drop. Then, without realizing what I'm doing, I take his hand and our lips meet. It's a very awkward kiss, and we both jump off each other very quickly, Draco looking surprised.
"All this time?" He asks.
"I- I guess," I say, watching his expression. His face turns into delight, and without a doubt in our minds, we go in for another kiss. This kiss isn't short and awkward, this time it feels...nice. We finally break apart after a while, both pink in the face. Then, we smile, before laughing.
I hesitate, taking in everything, before smiling at him.
"S-So does this mean you do love me?" Draco asks a little stupidly. I laugh, before saying yes. His smile lights up his entire face, it makes me want to smile, too. We share this silence for a while, before Draco sees his knife on the ground beside me and picks it up.
"We should probably get rid of this. This knife has been through more trouble than it's worth, to be honest," he says halfheartedly.
Grinning, I say, "Yes, we should. C'mon, we need to find a place."
I start to stand up, before Draco grabs my arm. "Hey!" he exclaims, "you have to wash your arm off. It looks like you've been painting your arm red."
I look down, and realize that my arm is still bleeding, hurting painfully as I touch it. Jumping up, I start to wash my arm off, while Draco rummages for something in his bag. When I'm done, I look at my arm. My cuts have stopped bleeding, but they are still there. My head also feels light. I grab my forehead in surprise, muttering, "Agh, I feel so light-headed..."
"Here," Draco says, pushing a bottle towards me, "It's a blood replenishing potion. C'mon, drink."
I do so, and I instantly feel better. "Thanks," I say, wiping the drink off my mouth, "Now let's go find a place where we both can't find it."
"I know a place we can hide it," He says. "The place where everything is hidden."
10 minutes later, we stand in front of a wall. I look at Draco, knife in hand. I can't believe what's going on right now, it's so crazy, like I'm living another life.
I need a place to hide my knife, I need a place to hide a knife....
"You did it, you don't have to look so concentrated," Draco says, smirking. I look up and smile. The room of requirement. It's here.
Walking in the room, I see many things, including a few birds, multiple cupboards, and a strange box covered with a cloth of some sort.
"Draco? What do you think this is?" I ask, pointing at the box.
Draco waves a hand and says stiffly, "Oh, probably just a drawer of some sorts? Anyways, close your eyes. I'll do the same, and I'll throw the knife in a random pile."
"Ok, but you mustn't go looking for it. Here, I'll cover your eyes so that you can't see."
We both close our eyes, my hands covering his eyes, and moments later I hear a muffled clatter. Draco threw the knife. Walking out the door, we watch the door disappear. We look at each other and kiss again. When we break apart, Draco smiles.
"Great job, Harry. We did it."
My eyes widen. "Oh!"
"What?" Draco says, clearly puzzled.
"You called me Harry. You've never done that before."
