Lily's pov

After a long and a hectic day. Proffesor informed us that we can sleep now. I was laying on the bed with lucy besides me. My mind was completely focused on the the book.

I get up from my bed, take out my suitcase from the cupboard.

"what are you doing?" lucy enquired

"nothing, just finding something from my suitcase" i informed, she shrugged her shoulders as she look back into her phone and continue stalking kpop idols. I shook my head and sighed.

I opened my suitcase and find the book which were buried inside my clothes.

I slowly opened the book. I flip few pages and read the riddle.

Riddle

I am something people love or hate. I change peoples appearances and thoughts. If a person takes care of them self I will go up even higher. To some people I will fool them. To others I am a mystery. Some people might want to try and hide me but I will show. No matter how hard people try I will Never go down. What am I?

"what?" she cringed. I keep the book in front of her.

"solve this" she looks at me with tilted head and narrowed eyes. She looks at the riddle.

"how long have you been fond of solving riddles?" she raised her eyebrows.

"just from few days" i awkwardly laughed. She shook her head and look back at riddle.

"hmmm... Something people love or hate, it goes higher, its a mystery, people try to hide it" i nodded my head at her every word not able to find the answer of it.

"did you find the answer" the wrinkles was showing on her head she was in a deep thought.

"its related to our life" she blurted out.
"something that grows.... Its written in there that it gets higher.... What in our life gets higher"

"i dont know about higher but i know about lower.... And its my grades" i chuckled at my own joke and lucy give me death glare.

"people tries to hide it that means its something the we can't show but it will show own its own, that means it goes higher every second, every minute, every week, every month, every year...... and what goes higher every year?" she thinks and i was trying to use my useless brain.
" AGE" she exclaimed.

"age... Lucy you are a true genius oh my god i love you" i tried to kiss her.

"ewww lily i like boys" i rolled my eyes and snatched the book from her hands.

"now you can stalk your kpop boys" i teased her.

"no i'm going to sleep now good night lily" she yawned and covered herself with the blanket, i mumbled a good night to her.
