The TOON House Cartoon Stories: "Amethyst: REFORMED"

CHAPTER 1: Which Crying Breakfast Friend Are You?

Recently, Steven Universe, who was 13 years old, has been becoming more and more used to becoming a member of the Crystal Gems, despite him still being a rookie with his powers. Not only that, but he also had become very good friends with Drawer ever since the day that he explored around Beach City when it became the newest location at Cartoon Network Central. But one mid-afternoon in Beach City, Steven was sitting on the beach using his cell phone to play a BuzzFeed quiz based on his favorite animated TV show, Crying Breakfast Friends, which he loved watching… despite the fact that nobody else understood it.

While he was doing that, his father, Greg and the smart member of the Crystal Gems, being Pearl, were both fixing the Mr. Universe Van that was nearby on the beach. Steven's phone screen soon revealed a picture of Sniffling Croissant, which was one of the characters on Crying Breakfast Friends.

“Sniffling Croissant! You really know me, Internet!” Steven said happily before he decided to show Greg and Pearl what he was rewarded with. “Hey, guys!”

“Yeah, Steven?” Greg asked him.

“You guys should take this online quiz I found. It tells you what…” Steven explained to them, while Pearl walked next to him to pick up a close-by wrench. “It tells you what character you are from Crying Breakfast Friends!"

“Uhh, why?” Pearl asked confusedly.

“It's just fun to see yourself as a cartoon character, like Weeping Egg Cup, who is neurotic and uptight. Or Pining Grapefruit, the sensitive older one who wishes he were a better role model.” Steven explained while Pearl and Greg stared uneasy at him.

“Uhh… Maybe we can do that thing after we fix the van.” Greg suggested as he and Pearl turned back to the van's open hood.

“Okay.” Steven sighed, while understanding. “I'll go find someone else!”

“Do you understand that cartoon show?” Pearl asked him.

“I don't understand anything anymore.” Greg replied somberly.

While they were working on the van, they heard a race car nearby. As they looked to find out what was going on in curiosity, they both found Drawer, as he was riding on one of the most famous race cars of the Piston Cup, Lightning McQueen. He was helping him get a ride over to Beach City.

“KA-CHOW!” McQueen shouted as he dashed past them.

“GET OUT OF THE WAY!” Drawer shouted while he was sitting on the rack car's head.

Pearl and Greg were immediately surprised by what they saw, that they leapt away from sight to allow them to get through, not wanting to get hurt nor even run over by McQueen.

“Here’s my stop, McQueen.” Drawer  while McQueen soon stopped driving.

But he stopped SO fast…  that Drawer flew into the air, screaming Goofy's famous YAH-HO-HO-HOOEY! yell and causing his head to get stuck deep into the sand on the beach.

“Whoops!” McQueen gasped in surprise. “Sorry 'bout that, Drawer!”

“It’s okay!” Drawer muffled from under the sand while providing a thumbs-up, meaning everything was peachy-keen.

Greg and Pearl eventually rushed over, got him out of the sand, and helped him back on his feet as he dusted himself off and regained his train of thought.

“You alright there, Drawer?” Greg asked him.

“Yeah.” Drawer replied while feeling a slight bit dizzy by the impact of what happened. “I think I need some driving lessons, especially since the car has a face.”
