Y/N's POV:

"Y/N! You're gonna be late, dumbass!" Ritsuka called for me. It was Monday. Of all days to have a weird dream, it had to be Monday. "Coming.." I groaned to him. I got up and started packing up my school stuff. Guitar, textbooks, homework, notes. All good. I ran downstairs and outside, figuring I'd just wait till lunch to eat.

When I got to school, I bumped into Sato. "Hi Uenoyama-chan." He greeted. "Hello Sato-san." I replied, just walking slow enough so he could walk alongside me. "We're in the same class." He said. I nodded, not really ready for a conversation this early. "Uenoyama-chan?" He said, his sweet voice ripping me from my thoughts.

"Yes, Sato-san?" I acknowledged his saying of my name. "Will you teach me how to play guitar?" He asked. I had to process his question for a moment before slowly nodding my head. "Thank you." He said sweetly before taking his seat in class. I took my own seat and set my guitar case behind me.

I opened my bento box that my mother made and started eating. I didn't realize just how hungry I was, having not eaten over the weekend.

After I finished eating, I was surprised to see Sato walk up to my desk with his guitar case. "When are you going to teach me?" He asked. I shrugged and walked out, going to my normal napping spot on the stairs.

***

I was woken up by a salmon haired boy. Sato. "Did you need something?" I asked. He nodded and added, "Are you going to teach me guitar now?" I looked at the guitar case on his back and stood up. "Yeah whatever but I need to get my guitar from the classr-" I stopped in the middle of my sentence, seeing as he had my guitar on his back along with his own.

"Did you bring my guitar?"

"Yeah."

I sighed and sat back down. He handed me my guitar and I started tuning it. I played a chord and his eyes seemed to light up. "Are you going to teach me that, too?" He asked, looking at me like a 4 year old in a candy shop.

"Yes. Get out your guitar and start tuning it." I said and he looked very confused. I sighed.

"Do you not know anything about guitars?"

"No."

"You don't know how to tune?"

"No."

"Fix a string?"

"Nothing."

I pinched the bridge of my nose. "First of all, your strings are rusted. Second, y- why are you looking at me like that?" He looked at me like a lost puppy, just staring at me with a look that I couldn't really explain. "I'll fix your strings for you." I said and his eyes seemed to light up again.

I fixed his strings, tuned it, and played a few chords. "There. Good as new." I said while handing his guitar back to him. "Thank you."
