"May God have mercy on these poor souls."
(Notes to keep in mind...
Bold means that the word or phrase is being emphasized.
Italics means that the character is whispering or muttering.)"Yandere ma'am, what would happen if I like, held Nathan at gunpoint?" I say, with a smirk on my face. Yandere stares me down, probably contemplating how she would like to kill me.
"Woah woah, hold on a minute. No need to do that, we're all friends here." Nathan says, futile. Yandere and I continue our staring contest as Nathan watches, sighing.
"Yandere ma'am, what would you do?"
She laughs. "Funny joke! Who are you again?"
I roll my eyes. "Doesn't matter."
"This," Nathan gestures to me, "is one of my best friends. I don't think you two have met, right?" He gives me a warning look. I smile back at him, feigning ignorance.
"Don't think we have!" I look her up and down. "Oh no, would being best friends with Mr. Nathan here prove to be a problem for ya?" I laugh a little bit to myself. This was proving to be fun.
"Best friends? Why would such a good friend provide such a threat?" Yandere counters. I open my mouth, but before I could say anything, Nathan loudly declares, "Well, I'll let you two introduce yourselves, imma go get a drink from the vending machine, be right back!" and then promptly leaves to go find a vending machine.
"Bye sir, don't worry bout us!" I call after him.
"So, what's your angle here?" Yandere sure doesn't waste any time.
"My angle? Whatcha talking bout?"
Somewhere nearby, I hear a faint radio crackle, and apparently so does Yandere. She gives me a weird look and then looks around for a few seconds before turning her burning gaze back to me.
"Nothing I guess... just know nothing comes in between me and Nathan... nothing..."
"Damn. Overprotective much? Perhaps a bit... jealous even?" Yandere looks very close to murdering me. Maybe I should cool off on the jabs at her.
"But I'm sure we will get along fine!" She says, her smile on her face clearly strained. "Just don't get in my way." Any thoughts of being nice to her were immediately thrown out the window.
"Tch, as if I would even want to be near you." I say. "Go ahead and try all you want, Yandere ma'am. See how it goes for ya."
For a few seconds the radio crackle cuts off, then comes back on again. Strange. I don't think Yandere heard it this time, as she's still looking straight at me.
"Oh, I will slice your fucking throat." This time my smile falters... is this girl actually threatening me...? I muster up some courage to cover up my smile.
"Heh, ya think you could get near me enough for that? Man... I can't believe Yandere ma'am is so jealous of my status with Nathan. Whatcha gonna do, cry?" Okay, that one might have been a bit too harsh. It looks as if Yandere might pop a vein.
The radio crackle nearby stops again, and doesn't come back like it did last time. I don't pay much attention to it.
"Who says I can't be a problem, eh?' I say.
"Ugh, I'm gonna-! Oh, hey Nathan!" She stares over my shoulder behind me.
"What are y'all talking about?' Nathan has made a return. He has a soda can in his hand... Bepsi it looks like.
