The Copy Abilities and How they Work

Introduction: what Copy Abilities are and how they work

In this book I will talk about how copy skills work and powers according to my own head canons, and several will be used by Kirby in my book "Fallen Starlight".

The Abilities will be mainly the canonical ones, but there will be a couple of them created by me, and later I could also update the book with some drawings (well, when I find the time and the desire, and maybe even the talent).

The chapter structure will be similar to a bio card and will include design change, transformation, powers / attacks, possible personality change and source of the ability.

The transformation sequence took place in a sort of "Pocket Dimension", and when the transformation is complete it won't be a second, and for everyone else the transformation will just happen as a ray of light enveloping Kirby for a moment, changing him.

They will also be published in alphabetical order.

So what is the "Copy Ability"? And how does it work?

The Copy Ability is Kirby's Star Warrior ability.

This ability is really powerful and even some characters like Gooey, Dark Nebula, and Miracle Matter can use it, albeit not as extensively as is the case with Kirby.

They are activated when Kirby touches an enemy that has a skill, or his hands make contact with an attack that grants a skill. This is because Kirby has pads, jokingly called "Copy Pads" by Dedede, on his fingertips that light up slightly when Copy Ability is activated, and thus Kirby can touch objects safely, without the risk of activating them by mistake. . the ability to copy. The ability works when the essence of the attack or the enemy / item used to obtain the copy ability merges with Kirby's magical core.

Also, Copy Ailities can be obtained from some pedestals, called Copy Essence.

Unfortunately the ability can be blocked if Kirby is forced to wear gloves, thus covering his "Copy Pads".

There are numerous Abilities, some quite similar to each other, while others unique, some common and others extremely rare, all with their own special move set, and when discarded they transform into star-shaped crystals with a "logo" representing the skill imprinted on them, and also the color of the crystal depends on the skill in question (example: green crystal with sword symbol for Sword, brown crystal with hammer symbol for Hammer ...), called Ability Stars, giving the ability for Kirby to use the ability at a later time.

Copy Abilities are numerous and are divided into six categories:

⪧Normal, the ones that Kirby can find and use at any time (example: Sword, Spear, Hammer, Fire, Ice, Fighter ...)

⪧Limited, are skills that can be used a limited number of times, before disappearing without leaving a skill star (example: Cook, Crash, Mike ...)

⪧ Evolved, are abilities that, thanks to certain enchantments found in ancient scrolls, can be evolved from one to two times, becoming more powerful and rapid

⪧Super Abilities, abilities that are enhanced versions of five existing copy abilities, but can only be used for a time limit of about 2-3 minutes, as Kirby's body is not yet able to control energy excessive of these skills (skills are, for example, Ultra Sword, Great Hammer, Beam of Fire ...)⪧Robobot Mode, are the Skills compatible with the Robobot Armor used by Kirby during the Planet Robobot incident (example: Beam Mode, Jet Mode, Mike Mode, ESP Mode, Sword Mode ...)

⪧ Final weapons, special and powerful abilities that Kirby gains when he wields a Weapon of exceptional power or finds himself using a powerful object or, in the case of Landia, is aided by a powerful creature (example: Star Rod, Halberd Mode, Master , Triple Star, Star Allies Sparkler ...)⪧Smash Bros Abilities, the abilities obtainable by Kirby when he is in the World of Trophies, during Super Smash Bros tournaments (example: Mario, Link, Samus, Luigi, Steve, Mewtwo ...)

Teen/adult Kirby: In my headcanon Kirby, as he grows older, will have both horns and wings (the reason will be explained in Fallen Starlight), which he will change with some copy abilities.
