Deaf! Bakugou And Somethin Else

So yeah, there's a bunch of deaf bakugou fics,,, but-here's somethin I thought of with that headcannon

Au: deaf Bakugou and hard of hearing Midoriya

Ship suggestions: Bakudeku

This could be either bakudeku friendship or romantic bakudeku, you choose I guess-

Ships I'd prefer not to have: Kiribaku, tododeku or litterally any ships with bakugou and midoriya, because this is mainly centered around the two of them. Whether it's platonic or romantic, I think it's better that the story stays focused on them.

Prompt:

Due to Bakugou's explosions, he slowly goes deaf. Midoriya, having been exposed to big explosions and his yelling close up for a while, has also become hard of hearing. Mido, with his ever expanding knowledge of quirks, kind of predicted Bakugou would go deaf. (He didn't predict his own situation, which is sum angst fuel) Bakugou had no idea this was gonna happen, his hearing just slowly became worse, until one say he noticed it was really hard to hear things. Mido, knowing this could happen, learnt sign language early on somewhere during middle school, so he could still communicate with Bakugou. But, as stated earlier, Bakugou didn't predict this would happen, so he doesn't know any sign language at all.

Mido helps and teaches Bakugou sign language when Bakugou realizes what's happening. Bakugou went to Mido first about this problem, because quirks and shit. Also, they've known each other forever, so while he would never admit it, its easier asking help, and being vulnerable around Mido.

Yeah, I've seen sum deaf bakugou AUs, and one deaf Mido AU, which was caused by a fight with, ya guessed it, Bakugou. I thought, technically, both could be very possible. Both create a shit load of angsty scenarios, but also a whole lotta fluff :)
I just love the concept of Mido being multilingual, sign language being one of the languages he knows, and helping Bakugou.
